My son is 6 and it took him about an hour to put together by himself. The mini figures are not the best, but the sub itself is pretty fun to play with and has some good moving parts and features. A little overpriced as LEGO's go, but I'm learning that for the star wars sets the 10 cent per brick guideline is off. Read more

My 10-year-old son is very much into Star Wars Lego. He loved this kit! I was pleased with how many parts could separate from the main ship and operate independently. The price here on amazon.com was better than at Target or on target.com or lego.com. Read more
This is a very durable lego except for the back "stick" propeller portion. I am considering gluing the pieces on the propeller because every time my son plays with it that part pops off. The mini figs with the set are really great! Queen Amidala (sp?) is very detailed! Really neat that the back portion separates from the rest of the sub. Would recommend. Read more
