I like this laptop stand. It helps to keep my laptop cool by lifting it off the table. It also helps me ensure my camera is at eye level. That way I look like I am looking at folks when I am in meetings and not looking down. It’s super lightweight and easy to take with me when I travel so I can work anywhere It is super easy to set up and adjusts to multiple levels so I can get it just right on various table heights. Before this one I had a metal stand that had to be put together and was heavy and not at all adjustable as well as a laptop fan with some minor adjustability for height that was heavy and while it came with lighting and other bells and whistles wasn’t very portable at all. This is much nicer than both and I am fairly certain it is much cheaper too. Read more

The media could not be loaded. You get what you pay for. I'm a bit surprised that Leitz, a generally well-known brand that is known for quality items, would put a product out as cheap as this. It's a relatively lightweight, plastic laptop stand. It does its job OK. See my video for the most annoying part of this product.. Read more

Very basic laptop stand, It doesn't really have many features or "things" that standout about it. It's all plastic, doesn't feel very durable (not flimsy though) and has finite adjustable for the rest angle for your computer. The stand has four indented slots for the riser to rest in, and at the highest angle it was able to support my 3.5 Lb laptop without issue or looking like it would collapse. It also can support a laptop folded closed or not. You can really ask for much else out of a product that cost this, and I don't believe its a bad value. Read more

The stand has a relatively slim and space saving design, though being on the lighter side (not the most sturdy feeling), I wouldn't suggest for larger/heavier laptops. Unlike some stands that are over-complicated and puzzle-like, this one is obvious and quick to pop up. It's advertised for laptops but suitable for mid to large size tablets too. Read more

I tried using this with my 13" laptop, and once I got everything stable and situated, it was fine, but getting to that point was a bit of a juggling act. The bottom of this is not very wide, and it mainly relies on the outer frame (which acts as the device rest) to stabilize it, but this fails to be sufficient when you're using it in bed, resting it on your lap. You could use it on a table, and this would be fine, but I find putting a tablet on a backrest to be awkward, it's better just resting flat on the table. Which is why I thought this would work in bed, instead. I admit the laptop was a bit gainly to be using on this stand, but it is described as a "laptop stand" in the title, so I wanted to see just how well it performed that function. In conclusion, I'd use this as a tablet stand at most, but find it a bit awkward even as that. Read more

I ordered the Leitz Ergo Laptop Stand for my Chromebook so that I can look at movies, podcasts, and YouTube videos. I do not see how one can use it to do extensive “production” work. I noticed that the description/marketing pages show an additional standalone keyboard and mouse, so I assume that you need these items to do “real” work effectively and efficiently on a laptop/notebook situated on the laptop stand. The build quality of the Leitz is okay … I just question the utility. The utility of this item is limited for me therefore I am giving it three stars. Read more

I finally had a good reason to put this laptop stand through its paces. I had ordered it a few weeks ago, but had not really had an opportunity to fully try it out. Yesterday was the day! First, when you see this laptop stand right out of the box, it can seem underwhelming—not flashy, not attention grabbing. It just lies there—almost folded flat—looking sort of like a picture frame. So, it sat for awhile on a shelf. Yesterday, I needed to create a written/typed progress report about a student, whom I was tutoring. I needed to include assessment data and analysis of that data, observational data, and additional information. So, I began to gather my tools because I knew that I would be thinking, typing, editing, and whatnot for quite a long time. I borrowed my Mom’s laptop and decided to try out the new laptop stand. 1. The design and setup of this laptop stand is very simple and basic. 2. It really does resemble a picture frame from the front. It is a hard, strong plastic. On mine, the outer frame, bottom tray and support rest are black. The inner, swinging , support rectangle is a light grayish beige. 3. The gray support rectangle swings back from the front outer black frame, and it rests in one of the grooves built into the black, tray-like bottom. Please see my photos for more clarification. Plus, look at the photos in the product description. 4. Again, the design is very simple. You simply move, or swing, the gray rectangle back into whichever groove provides the degree of incline that you want while working. 5. The laptop stand seems to be lightweight, but it is sturdy to use. I actually sat on the sofa while I worked. I ended up typing and revising for about five hours total, but I did feel comfortable during the experience. I plan to keep my laptop stand handy, since I know that I will be creating additional update reports. I would definitely recommend this stand. Read more
