i’m a loyal lelo fan. my very first vibrator that i purchased at 18 was a lelo one and i recommended all of my clit-having friends to buy one. in a sea of ugly sex toys, lelo has a professional consistent look and feel. their quality is undeniable. i’ve been looking at this toy for awhile. it seems almost mystical, with all of the reviews touting that it can make you reach climax in under a minute. the only negatives i’ve seen are the noise it makes and that it’s too good at its job. i finally caved and bought one. context: i am a fairly sensitive person, i don’t have much issue orgasming. but it takes me sometimes an entire hour to build up to a really good satisfying one. i bought this because of the glowing reviews of the intensity of the experience, and because i wanted a toy that would surpass my vibe at least in efficiency. on and off different meds, i’ve found myself unable to reach that mindblowing sensation without a lot of time to build it up. unboxing first impressions: i was surprised by how light the actual device is. i almost thought it was a misorder when i unpacked its contents. it comes in a thin black bag which is discreet, with very little information about the product on the outside aside from the barcode. if you’re looking for discreet packaging, it has it. when i took it out of its wrappings and looked at it for the first time, it struck me as tasteful. the box is sleek, the silicone is soft, it has the general minimalist aesthetic of lelo products that i love. i wish it came in a more pastely pink but that’s just my personal preference. there isn’t any info if it’s charged or not with the actual product, so i just charged it for two hours. no instructions or manual come with it, it’s just online. the online manual is really small and just tells you what you already know— one year warranty if it’s defective, put it on your clit, it’s nothing really that informative. i expected more guidance with positions or placement of the toy so it felt strange just going in blind. first usage experience: i just decided to wing it after getting spotty information on how exactly to use it other than “slap it down there and let it do it’s business”. i tested it on my hand and was like “okay that’s interesting but it feels just like a controlled, focused vibrator”. it’s fairly quiet when on, almost shocking quiet until i put my palm over the mouth of the device. immediately i understood the noise complaints, but i dont agree with them. there is this uncanny slurping noise it emits when it’s not positioned correctly. but that’s because you are either applying too little pressure or way too much. while holding it firmly but relaxed and not applying excessive pressure resolves the issue very quickly. i figured out the right place to put it very quickly and the slurping sound stopped. it is “whisper quiet” as the package totes especially on lower settings. and i thought my vibrator was relatively silent. sensations were.. really odd at first. i was overwhelmed and confused. i adjusted it a couple times until it felt right. the only way i could describe the feeling like a robot going down on you. the ‘sonic’ element of it makes it feel like there is a vibrator inside of your labia. when i got the right position, it was like a brain overload. it worked me up to a point that usually takes me an entire hour to get to. there weren’t any unsatisfying, short orgasms. it was instantly good. in ten minutes, i had gotten to climax ten times. i had to take a nap afterwards, my legs were shaking and it was hard to stand. many of the negative reviews say that they tried it with a partner first, which i understand getting a bad first impression since finding the right position initially I was reading reviews of people who had a bad time with this one, and it seems to be down to two things: not familiar suction toys, or finding it too intense. For either case I’d recommend what I upgraded from, the Satisfyer. This thing was pretty intense for me, I haven’t maxed out the intensity yet and I am a seasoned suction toy hedonist. I got it on sale and really like it, I wouldn’t be as happy about it at the original price but at $40 I found the value to be excellent. Also if you get one that sucks in a non fun way? There IS a warranty in the box. I like the texture and feel of it, the design is pretty slick too. Battery life is excellent, noise is about what I expected. It’s quieter if you get a good seal but if you’re like in a shared space with thin walls or something pass on this one, it ain’t that quiet. Other little notes: I appreciate that it doesn’t have a removable tip, because I keep losing those. It’s been easy to clean so far even though it’s all one piece.
