The graphic side of this hand towel has a shiny finish. It doesn't work as well as cotton or microfiber towels for drying. Perhaps it will soften and become more absorbent over time, I haven't had it long enough to comment on durability. Here's What I like: **16x24 Is Large -- Whether you use this as a dish or guest hand towel, it is generously sized. **Flat , Crisp Folds -- This towel is flat and looks good when set out on a countertop as a guest towel. **Cute Graphic -- The red 'Everything is Figure-Outable' saying and graphics are good. Could use this as part of a get-well or cheer-up gift basket. **Excellent Value -- This waffle weave towel is very reasonably priced. I haven't had this towel long enough to comment on its durability, including how well the color graphic wears after repeated laundering. I love the Nihilform Goth Waffle Towel. It's the size of a tea towel at 16x24 so it's big enough to use as a dish towel or hand towel. The image and text are vibrant and stand out. The colors are black, red, and green for the rose leaves yet it makes a statement…and that statement is pretty dang funny. I like the size of the towel and am using it in the kitchen for hands. It's 100% polyester so it didn't shrink and the image stayed bright after the initial wash. The towel is well made and the cloth is a medium weight. Great for Halloween, or any day at our house!
