I think these are the perfect size and weight. 14 oz is the right amount for a water glass imho. They are very utilitarian but have elegance in their simplicity. The glass is not too thin that you have to be that cautious with them, but don't feel clunky on your lips either. I like how they stack. They're not perfectly straight-sided and have a bit of a flare where the glass gets a bit thicker near the bottom. The extra weight at the bottom gives them a bit of heft so they won't get knocked over easily. Read more

The short glasses are absolutely beautiful and perfect for wine or cocktails! They’re similar to a Spanish style “chatos” glass, great for wine with tapas or informal meals, and they look lovely on the dinner table as well. We had a few incidents of knocked over wine glasses (we weren't drunk---just clumsy!), so I wanted wine glasses with short stems that were stackable to take up less space, and also that could be washed in the dishwasher. These glasses fit the bill and are attractive. They do have "Lenox" etched onto the base, but the letters are very small, so not that noticeable. Read more
