Initially I ordered these pants in XL for my hubby but they were too big. The pants like most sweatpants are somewhat baggy. I returned the XL for a Large. Upon arrival, my hubby tried on the pants and now refuses to take them off. My hubby is always cold and says these pants are the most warm, comfortable pants he has ever worn. The pants have a wide stretchable waistband with a drawstring. There is a thick layer of fleece lining. The legs are hemmed rather than having a ankle band like many sweatpants. Since they don't have the appearance of sweatpants, I am OK with my hubby wearing these pants out and about. I cannot attest to their washability since my hubby refuses to take them off. I have ordered a second pair which I am anxiously awaiting. The hubby has stopped complaining he is cold now that he is wearing these pants. Read more

I am 5'4" and 125 lbs. After reading reviews of the various versions of these pants, I decided to buy the men's small. Mens clothes are often better made than womens, and they almost always have bigger pockets. I am quite pleased with the pants. Negatives: The outer layer of fabric is a bit stiff, and the fit is unnecessarily large around the hips and butt. The not very sleek fit is why I gave them a 4 rating, not a 5. Positives: these pants are quite comfortable and superlatively warm. I think they are the warmest pants I have ever owned. The two pockets are adequately large. The waist fits me, but a small waisted person might be more comfortable in the XS size. If they can handle regular washing, I will be very happy with them. Read more

Bought for my hubby a few years back & they have been his favorite pair of pants in the winter time ever since. They are comfortable and well made so I decided to get him another pair for christmas, obviously couldnt wait to give them to him though so now he has a pair to wear while the other is in the wash lol.
