I usually stick to full sized, 100% keyboards, so I didn’t know what to expect with a 96% board (with regard to weight, missing keys, size, etc.), but this won me over. The size is normal, so it doesn't feel awkward to type on for someone who types pretty fast. The missing keys? I didn't ever use those keys anyways (and neither do 99% of people) so it wasn't a FOMO moment. The colors of the actual keyboard are soft and... cozy almost. The colors just seem to scream almost like a creamy green. It feels very thoughtfully designed. Right out of the box, everything worked exactly as it should. There was no confusing setup, key combos to memorize, or bloatware to install. You just plug it in and start using it. The stock "double-shot PBT" keycaps feel much nicer than my usual experience with PBT and don’t come across as cheap at all. But one of my overall favorite things about this keyboard is the sound of typing. Typing feels smooth with no hint of tactile clack. It has a crisp, yet soft linear sound that’s extremely satisfying. The switches feel consistent and smooth, and the RGB is bright without being overpowering. There are plenty of preset lighting modes to choose from, which makes it easy to find something you like without needing any software. Although I'm not too sure on the customization part of it. From a design perspective, I ended up liking the side knob more than I thought. I initially thought it was a little weird but I suppose it has grown on me. It keeps it as compact as it can be. The built-in dongle storage is convenient and quite silly. I don't dislike it at all, I just couldn't figure out where the actual USB dongle was at until I read the instructions (cause who just randomly pushes on a flat piece of metal on the board in hopes it opens up?) While it isn’t a full aluminum board, that hasn’t taken away from the experience at all. It is hefty for what it is. It definitely stays in place when typing or gaming. On the other hand, this makes it not the best portable keyboard out there. Superb buy for an office or gaming desk, but not so much to pair with a laptop or tablet. Overall, it looks great, feels great, and is fun and rewarding to type on. This keyboard has easily outpaced and therefore replaced my last mechanical one. Read more

There are a lot of dimensions to evaluating this keyboard so I will simply number the comments rather than try to group them. 1. In some ways this keyboard is a throwback to the early 1990s. IT IS HEAVY, over 2.5 pounds. I used the old IBM model F keyboards (metal, weighting almost 5 pounds) because you could sit on the sofa, put your feet on the coffee table and work with the keyboard in your lap without every key tap causing the entire keyboard to wobble. Those were the days. 2. Setup using Bluetooth was really easy. I used windows. Turn on., Look for it in settings. Click and its connected. I imagine that android and IOS would be similar. There is the ability to connect to three different bluetooth devices. I think, but have not verified that you can also use the dongle under a magnetic cover to connect a fourth computer with 2.4G. 3. A few keys are not in locations that are intuitive, like the delete key. I make a lot of mistakes so this is kind of a big deal. 4. Compared to the Dell keyboard I get from IT now, this has a much more haptic feel to key strokes with a much more audible mechanical feedback. A lot of attention is paid to the backlighting of the keyboard. Changing colors, several choices of single colors, lighting associated with keystrokes. It took me a while to find out how to turn everything off (ahh..). The backlighting is the only way to know it is turned on. 5. Good battery life with the backlighting turned off. 6. There are some extras in the box: two replacement key switches along with a tool to remove and replace them. 7. Instructions are mostly in Chinese with a brief section in English centered around shortcut keys. Even with the guide (not at all clear) you should plan to spend an hour or so of trial and error to get the features that are important to you. I still haven’t figured out how to do some things. The manufacturing quality is better than the design quality. 8. Did I mention that the delete key location is going to drive me nuts. 9. The keyboard is a little expensive. Other BT keyboards are more. So it is not ridiculously high. In order to say it is a good value I have to end up concluding that this is the best keyboard I have used in a while. I might get to that point, but I’m not there yet. Read more
