As a woman with thick calves (19"), I was hoping, just hoping, these would work considering they were advertised as being thigh high for the average and/or thin lady. I wasn't looking for them to go up to my crotch, just my knees and still be comfortable. I can tell you that I am absolutely overjoyed with these - they are thick, they are long and I can actually get them up to my crotch (not that that would ever be necessary) - that's how wide the top can stretch - I'm talking 26-27". Oh, and they are warm! I've had them on all day (up to just my knees where I wanted them) and they have not slipped down once and they are nice and slouchy. That said, I am wearing Torrid leggings so it may have something to do with the fabric. I did buy two pair - the black came today but I have gray coming too and I'm sure I'll be just as pleased. I am a little concerned about how they will wash - hoping they won't pill. Other than that concern that hasn't even happened yet, these are better than I had hoped and exactly what I was looking for. These are the best long leg warmers. I bought another brand, but returned them. These are thick enough without being bulky, they are also softer feeling than others in Amazon. The elastic side is not the kind that will cut off your circulation lol, it's very comfortable. They look good with jeans and leggings. I love wearing them around the house instead of pajama pants, super warm. I do wish they had a pure black pair instead of only marled colors. Otherwise they are the best. Read more

Okay. This is going to be a detailed review because I POURED through the offerings on Amazon and finally settled on this particular brand. Very happy I did. I am 5’9” tall and weigh about 220. The very top of my thigh (around groin area) measures 26” Mid-thigh-22” Calves-16” Inseam 30” These are long enough to pull up to the very top of my thigh so that they come just under each cheek with about 1-2” left in length around my ankles. Awesome. They have an elastic cord, almost thick rubber band diameter, that holds them up. Initially, I felt it was a little too tight. I wore them to bed and stretched the cord out just right. I actually wore these to my VERY physical job the other day and they were very comfortable and stayed up well all day. The knit is like chunky, very wide corduroy. It is thick, fairly soft, and very warm. Since i have thick thighs, they are form fitting down to about just below my calf and slouchy around the rest of my leg. I personally like this fit. I’m washed them on delicate and hung to dry. I hope they are durable. I really like these and am buying another pair. Read more

Ordered super long in dark grey and white/vanilla. They fit like a dream! My thighs are thick like 24in around, and these babies stay up and theyre not restricting. I can pull them all the way up my thigh or just part of the way. The material is comfy and not itchy. They are very warm. Good substitute for sweats in the hoise but def super cute with outfits. Only downside which won't apply to everyone is that I am only 5'2" so they have a good 11-12 inches of extra length...they still look good with boots though. Definitely satisfied customer. Read more

when I first opened the package they looked nice. They are nice and long. Not the softest but okay. I have very skinny legs. When I put them on, the elastic on the top was so tight it felt like it was cutting off my circulation!....And I have skinny legs!! You can definitely feel that it's just a rubber band at the top so I snipped a few threads to take it out. I don't know how people with big thighs can wear these at all. I guess it depends on the rubber band that's used LOL. I will never buy these again. I have had dozens of leg warmers and these are the first that are held up by rubber bands! 😳Ridiculous! They fit perfectly without the rubber band for me. I give these a "D" for a grade because one of the most important thing is how they stay in place. They are cheaply made because they should have used SEWING ELASTIC (if anything)! I am pretty sure that rubber band will break after a few wash/Dry cycles!! Read more
