Leukotape is kind of an open secret in the ultra-running and extreme outdoor community because it's such a fantastic blister preventative. It's like moleskin but much thinner. Long-distance runners tape potential hotspots before running, and it is a staple in many of our first aid kits for hotspots that develop on the trail (ideally, you put it on *before* getting an actual blister). It's very sticky (on one side), conforms to your foot, and lasts through an almost unbelievable amount of abuse, sweat, and water. Very wet conditions do hasten its demise, but you can often go a whole day or more in soaking wet shoes before it quits. There's nothing quite as good as Leukotape (and this supplier was fine). This is the best medical tape I have ever used. Started getting blisters after a 10 Kilometer hike. Applied this tape and it held for the next 6 days of hiking through the Mountain Warfare Training Center. Helped stop the hot spots and prevented more rubbing. Makes mole skin unnecessary. Works is advertised tho things stick to the sides like normal tape so that's kind of annoying but expected, easy enough to rip with your teeth but still tough as hell. Sticks hard and only comes off painfully, as it should. Good stuff Read more
