this is my second pair of Levi Strauss gold, the first pair is just a signature gold and blue denim and they fit so good I thought I'd give these a try. The tag is the same Levi Strauss signature gold but the men's carpenter jeans has a hammer loop a fifth pocket and they stretch pretty good! Best jeans ever made. Ive tried other levis, wranglers, carhartts, dickies, jeans from buckle, 5.11, ariats, and other department store jeans. These can't be beat. Superior to all. I have powerlifting thighs and glutes and almost all other jean brands dont have room in the seat like these do. 100% durable cotton denim with just the right amount of breathability. The Centurion color is the best wash color I've ever seen in ANY jean brand in my opinion. They're looser fit and exactly what I was looking for. Very great silhouette. Not made of 100% denim, but uses that "stretchy denim" (like for skinny jeans). They look good and are comfortable to wear...but they would not be long-lasting at all on a real work site. Tractor Supply has a house brand set of Carpenter's Jeans that are made from 100% cotton and feel far more durable than this stuff, and have a similar cost. However, with the real denim, they should last much longer than these poseur pants. FWIW, Levis and the other "jeans" makers should make it easier to determine what kind of material you're getting when ordering their clothes... Too bad, because I really wanted to like these.
