Bought this to help circulate air in our living room. It is a great, unobtrusive fan. We normally keep the fan at its lowest setting. At this setting we find it can cool the room with minimal noise. The motor that oscillates the fan does randomly get loud but usually goes away on its own. Read more

This is the best fan I have ever had! It gets hot where I live, over 100° in the summer. A fan is a necessity. I have had and used at least a dozen fans in my life, and this one is my favorite! It is quiet! It has a few different settings. At first I thought that most of the settings were a gimmick, but it turns out they are actually useful. I really like the fact that it has a "night mode" that makes the display lights turn off, and it gets very quiet, but suprisingly effective. The little storage part for the remote is very handy as well. I have not taken it apart to clean it yet, but that looks easy. I plan to clean it before I need it in Spring.
