Best sleep I’ve gotten since I’ve been sick. My old humidifier broke so I needed a new one & this thing is amazing. The past few nights even with the old humidifier I’d wake up coughing because of the dry air; not once with this one! It has a large (but not overly large) tank, fits perfectly on the night stand & lasted all night. No issues. The mist vent turns independently, so you don’t need to reposition the entire machine. This little humidifier by Levoit works great in my bedroom! I have a gas furnace that completely drys out the air in the winter and cannot sleep well because of it. Got this humidifier and sleep like a baby. Perfect for my bedroom. Tried it in the living room and it was just too big for this model. But for smaller spaces works great. The unit is super easy to fill. I just pour slowly on top of the cover and no problem. I have one hand so thos is super convenient for disabled person such as me. The selector knob does absolutely work well also. From low to high and everything in between it absolutely does change the flow. 10 for 10 in my view. Very quiet. I purchased two of these LEVOIT Top Fill Cool Mist Humidifiers at the same time. One works perfectly and produces a nice, light mist on the lowest setting that increases gradually as you turn the dial up. The second unit, however, seems inconsistent — even on the lowest setting it releases a much heavier mist than expected, and on the highest setting it’s significantly stronger than the other identical unit. Overall, I like the design, quiet operation, and top-fill feature, but there may be some quality control variation. Hopefully customer service can resolve it. Read more

This is a very nice humidifier. It's quiet, easy to use, and puts out a good amount of air even at the lowest setting. I like that it is a top fill so I don't have to carry the tank to a sink for refill. We've been using this for about a month and having used only distilled water, it's still just as clean as the first day we started using it. It's one-knob power and output control makes it easy for my 92-year-old mother to use it. We haven't use the oil diffuser, but as for the humidifier itself, we couldn't ask for anything better. A dozen years ago my wife and I put in a home humidifier. It never lived up to our expectations. The solenoid was breaking every two years. Then you had to buy filters and those were a pain to replace. Meanwhile it couldn't get the humidity in the house much higher than the low 20s. We finally gave up. So on a lark I picked one of these up last year. The humidity in the house with the heater and no humidifier was in the teens. I put this on the kitchen counter to see how well it worked. We got low mid 20s for humidity. Encouraged I bought a second one and put it downstairs. So with two of these running we're sitting at 30-35% in the house which is just under 3,000 sqft. Much more comfortable! These are so quite. Quiet enough that you won't have trouble sleeping with it in the room. It's automatic shutoff when it runs out of water means you can fill it up and let it run during the night. A full tank should last you through the night. We generally fill these up in the morning and they last until evening. This works like a dream and for the price it sure beats a whole home humidifier. I recommend these highly. Read more

Winter is the worse time of year because it dries up my nose and sinus. My last humidifier broke on my and this one is smaller but easier to clean out. I love how you can change the mist amount but I wish that it had a warm mist mode. It's overall quiet and after the first full talk run it doesn't smell. The water capacity is great and runs through the night even when you max out the mist mode. I would totally recommend this to anyone who has the same issues during the winter. In the winter my bedroom gets extremely dry, so I need a humidifier. I had one that worked well but made loud gurgling sounds which were annoying at night. So I looked at reviews and decided on this model. It is easy to fill without removing the tank, is very quiet and has no annoying power light. It brings the humidity up to a comfortable level and has a large tank that only needs filling once a day. I also have Levoit air filters and am really happy about the quality of Levoit products. This personal humidifier works well. No smell. Very quiet. The directions for cleaning could be more clear, but it's pretty easy to clean. One thing to be aware of..you will have to change the water filters & change them often. I have city water but my filter turned brown in 5 days. So I tried distilled water & it still turned brown in 8 days, which is mysterious to me. That seems very quick to need to change a water filter, especially with distilled water! Just be prepared to buy the filters to go with the humidifier. Also, the water reservoir is not as securely sitting on the base as I would like. You will need to keep it away from children. Easy to dislodge from the base. The ability to fill from the top is a plus, though. All in all it's a decent humidifier and the price is quite good. Read more
