So I can't tell you too much about how it works for gaming as I bought this for my son who lost his gaming privileges after I ordered it. So now mom has a fun pretty mouse for my laptop. The lights are so fun and there's so many different combinations to choose from. It's very comfortable to use and very affordable with amazing quality. Not Programmable!

This mouse might work for someone, somewhere, but if you are an actual gamer, it's laughable! I'm a WoW healer and bought this mouse to use with my healing addons. Unfortunately, this mouse is already programmed and can't be remapped. That would be the reason it doesn't come with any software. I downloaded X-Mouse Button Control with hope and quickly realized that it's not a mouse that I can use. Button 8 aka "rapid fire" is bound to button 1, which is the left click and it can't be remapped. Button 4 and 5 are strictly directional buttons which also can't be remapped. I thought maybe I could beat the cheap Chin.... manufactured mouse trap by logging in an rebinding through the game interface and it couldn't be done. Macros will not work either. This is a hard pass for me! I also found it humorous that the booklet, which is the size of a credit card but as thick as a cellphone, is called an instruction booklet. It's 80 pages of the same diagram in different languages and no actual instructions. Read more
