I’ve been looking for a denim skirt that isn’t stiff and rides up on you, so I decided to order this after reading the reviews. I’m 5’4” and ordered a size 8 in the potassium blue color. The hem comes at just below the knee, with a slit in the back and the waistline fits just right. The material is a good quality denim with just enough stretch making it soft to the touch. Overall, I really like this skirt! I waited until it went on sale (cyber Monday) and received it 2 days later! It will be a great staple to wear with tennis, heels, sandals or boots. I ordered the 14 plus. It fits tighter than I normally wear my skirts but it fits. I paired it with a sleeveless blue printed symmetrical top and it looked really cute. I decided to order two more one in Indigo and the other in royal blue but I sized up to a 16 plus so that I could feel more comfortable. My new order should arrive Saturday. I am anxiously waiting. I started to order the white one but some colors fit differently and since I already have a white skirt I decided not to order it. If these two new orders fit well, I will be ordering more. I have been on the lookout for a jean skirt that would fit comfortably, yet not look like it belongs on a 16-year-old, for at least a few months. This one is it! The cut is very form-fitting, starting with the waist. This skirt is sold by specific size, not merely S-M-L, which takes the guess work out of deciding your size. Be aware that the bottom (hem area) is narrower than the hips giving a super curvy look. Generally speaking, pencil skirts are a consistent width from the widest part of the hips, all the way down to the hem. The narrower bottom gives a subtly sexy vibe. There is a back slit that ensures that the garment doesn’t impede walking (so long as you’re not planning on running sprints in it!) Additionally, this is about the stretchiest denim I’ve ever encountered. The fabric is nice and soft, and those two things make for a very comfortable skirt that can be dressed up or down. To give a point of reference, I’m 118 pounds, 5’5”, and the size 2 is just right on the waist as well as close-fitting, but not stretched at all, around the hips. The cut definitely accentuates the booty. It may not be for everyone, but for me, the search for the perfect jeans skirt is officially over! The hem hits my leg about 2-3 inches below the knee. My husband wants me to take it up to the top of my knee, but the jury’s still out on that. I shot a few pictures, right out of the bag, to show a couple of different angles and leg positions. Ladies! If you're looking for a cute, modest denim skirt for a good price that doesn't look or feel like it came from Shein, this is it! I love these skirts so much! For reference, I am 5'6" and weigh 205lbs. My waist size is 38in and my hips are 47in. I purchased a size 16 plus. I am very happy with it in both fit and quality! I could've easily sized down and I know that because I was given a size 14 by a friend, and whenever I first put it on, it fits like a bodycon item, but stretches out to be slightly less form fitting during the day with a ton of wrinkles. To get a more average fit without having to wear it a few hours (and get less wrinkles) I sized up. It's still a flattering fit that accentuates my curves, but not quite as much. Based on their size chart, it's just right for my measurements, unlike other reviews saying to size up or down. I will say that just like with the size 14 one I owned previously, it has a good few inches of stretch and stretches out some with wearing! It still looks flattering though and the larger size made for far less wrinkles as it did, but does start to fall down as it stretches around my waist! Both sizes come down to just slightly below my knees. The quality excellent for the price and is just the same as a pair of jeans from somewhere like Walmart! It easily looks and feels like it would be a more expensive skirt! I would definitely buy more and plan to!! Read more
I purchased this skirt because it looked super comfy and versatile, and I wasn’t disappointed in that regard. The stretch denim fabric is soft and fits really well, offering a comfortable, stretchy feel that moves with you. The length is perfect for everyday wear, and it has a flattering silhouette. However, the one thing that bothered me was the buttons. I started worrying that the buttons might cause the skirt to open in places I didn’t want it to, and as a plus-size gal, I didn't want to risk feeling self-conscious or exposed. It’s definitely a cute design, but the button placement made me hesitant to wear it out too often. Overall, it’s a solid skirt, but I’d say it's best for those who are comfortable with the button detail. It is a stretchy denim and not too thick. The color is okay but it looks like the dye has blotches in certain areas. I hadn't worn the skirt so it wasn't anything that I spilled on it. It looked like an oil spot and I tried to wipe it off and when I did the color of the die came off on the cloth, so make sure to wash it before wearing it. The sizing was exactly as posted. I generally wear an xl/14 and this fit perfect. I washed it in cold water and air dried it and it came out fine. My measurements: 35 waist/44 hits and 156 lbs. It comes just below the knee. My height is 5'6". The price is great and affordable, so plan on getting other colors. Read more
I have many of these in differnt colors and all fit well and are not to long or too short just right length as I wear jean skirts everyday. I don't throw in dryer but hang up to dry an many are years old and have held up. Love them. Read more
