Purchased this for one of my parents and they love it. It was easy to set up and connect to wifi. However, we didn't care for the directional ball on the remote which sometimes seems hard for the elders in the house to navigate. The picture and visual options are beautiful, clear, and crisp. We've had this for two years and have had no issues. It seems to be good at prompting you to update the tv or the apps, which are pretty easy to do. My Samsung 55" smart TV lost the video board. You'd think that a set should last longer than 3 years, but not this time. Went looking for a replacement set and the features on the LG looked good, 4K, has 3 HDMI ports and more customizable screens than I need. Very nice vivid colors, with internal speakers that don't sound like the inside of a tin can. Since I'm using the TV with a Xfinity set top box, the supplied remote isn't required other than initial set up. As for the smart features? All of the TV manufacturers monitor viewer information if connected to the internet, so no smart features for me. Read the fine print on the information you give up when you click, I accept. An outstanding smart TV. Dazzling picture color and quality. Connecting two BT speakers was a snap. However, the remote control disappoints. The "Back button" returns you to the previous action, not the previous channel. Additionally, when you press the "settings" button, you're presented with a floating cursor. It is a bit unstable and shortly disappears, leaving you hanging. Overall, a great product at a great price! Read more

Bought it for my wife as a surprise birthday present she had it now for like almost a month and a half to two months she did not want to tell me but she has been always trying to get the color right or saying that something is wrong with the television And she finally came out and told me that she wish she had her other television because she cannot get a color right she was very grateful I had friends try to adjust the color and my daughters and I was surprised because LG is a good product I am calling tomorrow to ask for my refund back The brightness in the background is terrible I repeat do not purchase this particular product my experience that’s all I got . It’s easy to setup, it isn’t very heavy, it looks great, and it’s got a bunch of different settings for the screen. The remote DOES HAVE A VOLUME UP AND DOWN BUTTON IT JUST IS NOT OBVIOUS. THIS TV IS GREAT. It is to the left of the mute button and above the home button. Read more
This TV has an awesome picture for the price range. It already comes with a lot of stuff packaged into it - you no longer need to buy an Amazon Fire Stick! The only complaint I have is about the remote. The pointer mode is difficult to use until you get used to it. The whole remote is pretty touch sensitive, except for the on-off button. The way it's positioned and a bit sunk in makes it more difficult to use than the other buttons. Read more
This tv was great until the remote suddenly stopped working about a year in. I tried 2 universal remotes and 2 replacement "magic" remotes and none have worked. I finally forked over $50 for a certified LG remote and still doesn't work. I have to use the app to work the tv and it's always delayed for connection. I've never had a nearly new tv with such irritating problem. Picture is good. Sound definitely requires a sound bar. I like the LG channels. The support from LG is not truly helpful they just direct you to their store to purchase a remote direct from their website. The magic remote is junk. Read more
