Meet my Boyfriend of 1 year

I love this tv. He’s been great to me during Covid and even better than some of my lovers in the past. Originally $329 Amazon Prime and Best Buy OTD. 2019 model, I think it’s 49 point something inches, not 50”. Nice Decent built in sound! Can get loud. View your pictures at the baby sprinkle party like a power point! Nice quality picture for an economical steal at what I got it. HDMI, and nice remote included. This is a Bluetooth and WiFi internet capable TV. Lg internet channels are included which take some getting used to and get you by while adjusting to app subscription based services. I pay $40 for my internet throughout the house and $13 for Hulu, Disney, ESPN throughout the house. Trying to get my neighbors to ditch their $128 cable bill! And get a smart tube like this one instead. Please read further into LG channels. They read like this.... CHANNEL “ IP-207” and so on. You will not see your usual channel 9 without the antenna. This indeed is a smart TV. When I accidentally leave the remote in the garage or accidentally take the remote with me to go get coffee in the morning and can’t find it later, I use my iPhone 6 as a remote from the App Store Web Video Caster (in yellow) // this tv will work like your smart phone and allow you to listen to your I heart radio but the LG channels are sufficient for me. When I say works like a smart phone, I mean it allows you to download certain apps like Iheartradio and already has YouTube. if you’re stuck in cable bill land, the smart tv makes the regular tv a thing of the past for this reason hands down. WebOS limited apps

I purchased this as a "smart tv" but I failed to find out more about adding apps. LG has only limited apps, unlike an Android type of TV I sent message about more apps and all I get is crickets... LG needs to step up and add apps. I had to buy a ROKU device to get the apps I want so much for a "smart TV" Read more

Pretty much the worst TV.

I bought this TV at COSTCO (full disclosure). I'm pretty sure is the worst TV I've ever owned. Here's some reasons: The backlight causes light areas in dark scenes, mostly at the corners. After turning on the TV it will randomly turn off then back on (about 30% of the time). The remote is poorly designed and fairly difficult to use. The remote is overly sensitive to movement, just bumping it (or the table it's on) causes the channel/station menu to come up. LG constantly asks for permission to moniyor everything you watch, even after initially saying no. The privacy policy is rediculous, they want to monitor pretty much everything that happens on your TV. There's more but most have probably stopped reading by now. "Smart" TV's can be nice but the many issues with this one, as well as the privacy issues, make this not worth it. Read more
