First thought when unboxing it was not what I expected. When I saw the picture that came out of this thing, I was shocked. I had to check and see if I had gotten the QLED model but no, it is just that amazing of a picture. I don't see any need in getting any other TV for under $600 that looks this good and has so many smart features. It hooks up to every app with no problem and it just simply does what it says, and that in itself is enough for me, and I am very picky when it comes to my electronics. This TV could easily go for $1200 and be worth it. Thanx to Amazon for having the lowest price on the planet! This is one of those once in a lifetime opportunities to get the best for less. Grab it now before someone else gets what could have been your deal of the century! Read more
This TV has been a real pleasure to have this last month. The picture is actually clearer that the 50 inch Samsung that we had for several years and the WebOS interface is actually very good. The remote is also a Huge plus in our book. Being able to use the remote almost like a Wii remote to type things in is far better that using the arrow pad like most remotes. And the remote's build in microphone is also a huge plus in our book. The speakers on the TV are OK, but almost everyone now a days is hooking up a sound bar or surround sound setup so that isn't too big of a negative. Overall, this has been a great TV to game and watch movies. I would Highly recommend this TV. P.S. I caught this TV on sale with some Coupons as well so I only paid $380. Maybe watch it for a while to catch a similar sale. Read more
When we first saw the picture on this TV, both my wife and I said out loud, "SEND IT BACK!" I have bought LG TVs for a good decade, and once when my house was full of Samsung TVs, it is now STRICTLY LG. And, never had I seen a picture of this quality out of the box. I was sad of the thought of breaking down all my components, repacking the TV, and sending it back. Determined, I took to the web for advice. I found it. It took me a good 2 days of tinkering with the picture controls, many controls I had never needed to use, before I got the focus and picture colors right. The picture on this TV is actually quite nice. In fact, the picture got better with more usage. Just take your time and engage all the available picture settings. I like LG because all of the devices recognize each other, and recognizes non LG devices as well. How many TVs recognize the brand of Yamaha products? Samsung TVs don't even recognize other Samsung devices. So you will find yourself having to use several Samsung remotes. BUMMER. The LG remote not only paired with ALL my components, but I didn't have to do anything to make that happen. It even pair with Amazon Prime and Netflix automatically. 1 remote controls everything, even the sound bar. Read more
So technology has far surpassed my expectations. This tv has more features than I know what to do with. Literally. My newest TV is a 2015 model Samsung. And two others between 2010-2012. I really didn't know what I was missing with picture quality and gaming speed. There is maybe 8 preset picture and sound settings. I like a cpl of the picture settings and not really fond of the sound. But as I've noticed, the newer and or bigger the TV, the worst the sound quality and quantity. Like they try to force you to buy sound accessories. As for apps web features and more that I may never set up. Its got alot of good stuff. Easy set up out of the box. Nice shipping. A working 4k 55 inch delivered across the country to your door step. Around $500 after taxes and protection plan. In today's world, id say its a really decent buy. Especially if you prefer LG. Only slight buyers regret on this TV, I wish I would have gone in person to looked at Samsung current selections. Honestly I could deal with less or different features for specific picture and sound settings that I've grown accustomed to. Although, I do think the remote works pretty cool. I'm likely out of date, but the remote kind of works as a mouse when scrolling through settings apps or searching. I got a kick out of that. Read more
I love this TV. Picture quality is great. Remote layout takes a little getting used to but it works well. The air mouse feature with the pointer on the screen is an awesome idea once you get used to it. The features and setting are pretty intuitive. The only quirk I have noticed is on some channels the commercials start out very fuzzy until about halfway through. Then the TV catches up with the "upscaling?" And they clear up. It's irritating but, hey, so are the commercials! This also happens rarely on some programs but once it catches up then everything is fine. Overall I'm very happy with this TV. Read more

This is my first introduction to 4k and many of the features this set has. It’s for sure an upgrade from my last set- by leaps and bounds! It’s a lot to take in. I’m not really a big tech head so I had to take a few hours and just mess around with everything. Luckily it seems to be pretty foolproof and if I can manage to set it up I imagine most anyone won’t have a problem. Great picture, good sound, and the features... the tv comes with like 600+ channels, Alexa, voice control remote, and tons more! If you haven’t upgraded to the newer technology I would say it’s about time you did, and this price I feel is well worth what you get! Read more
After going through some problems with the last tv that I purchased (different brand), I am quite pleased with this tv. The picture is good, the sound is good and the “smart tv” features allow me to do all of the streaming that I want. Though it might lack some of the features that you might find on $1000+ units (Of which I am completely uninformed), it is quite good for my purposes. Just a FYI, the mounting bolts for LG TVs are smaller, so keep that in mind when you order your mounting kit. I’ve had this tv for about a month now and so far so good! I will update if anything changes. Oh, and I should add that Amazon handled this package very carefully with 2 employees carrying it very gingerly from a large delivery truck. I believe they are realizing how fragile these TVs really are even in all the styrofoam packaging! Read more
