I am pleasantly surprised by these Libin Womens Capri Pants! I am 5'2", so I'm short and kinda curvy with short legs.... Capri pants are usually less than flattering on me. But I actually really like the way these fit. Of course, they're more cropped than Capri length on me, but i expected that, and it's actually what I prefer. I think they are flattering because of the wide leg. The leg is wide all the way down, but it flares out slightly more right at the bottom. They do seem to run a tiny bit large. I am usually a M in pretty much everything, and that's what I ordered. Because these are stretchy and the waistband has a lot of stretch, I could've gotten by with a S. I would've preferred a S (they would've been more form fitting), but the M is fine. Hopefully, they might shrink a bit when washed and dried, but judging from how the material feels, i kinda doubt that will happen. The quality of these pants is great. They're made really well from a good quality, thin, lightweight material that will be perfect in the warm weather. The pants have a hook and eye closure, as well as a zipper, but also have an elastic waistband that is about 2" wide and super stretchy. Normally I wouldn't like a waistband that wide, but it works with the pants. Everything about these pants has surprised me in the best possible way. I would highly recommend them to any woman, any age. These Capri Pants would be a great addition to any woman's wardrobe because of their versatility. They would be perfect to wear to the office with a crisp button up shirt, blazer, and heels. Or with a cute tank and sandals for a casual weekend outfit. The options are endless! I would, however, recommend carefully checking the sizing chart before placing your order. If your want a loose, relaxed, casual fit, go with your normal size. But if you're wanting a dressier, more fitted look, consider sizing down. I love these pants but would not term them as "capri" pants. They are definitely gaucho pants due to the wide leg design. I got the grass green but again I would rephrase this color as a khaki green and I totally love this color. It goes with everything. The quality is excellent. I am a sewist and I always check the stitching and it is top quality, There is an ingenious hook and eye that on the outside looks like a snap closure but is a hook and eye closure on the inside. There are six, count them six, belt loop carriers that my belts appreciate very much because it keeps them from riding up. These pants can be dressed up or down. I enjoy wearing them gardening in the backyard since they clean up so easily, or going out on errands. I am 5'2", 35-25-35 and the pants have plenty of room so don't hesitate on getting a Small if you are on the fence with that because the elastic waist stretches a lot. Read more
These capri pants feel really nice, and though it's too cold to wear them out right now, I can tell these will be great in the warmer weather, especially for hiking and long walks. I ordered the dark gray in Large (usually 10-12 in pants, or large). As a pear shape, I wish there was a little more room in the hips but the best thing for me and pants are pockets that are sewn in like these are so they don't bunch up and stick out! Also, the waist didn't give too much of a gap, thanks to the elastic, and it is easy to move around in them. I really liked that the front part by the button is flat, which dresses up the pants a bit more. They washed well in cold and while they looked wrinkly when I hung them on the drying rack, they were surprisingly smooth by the time they dried. I would call specialized or performance pants and don't think I could get away with them for work as the length is hits at an awkward spot. For $29.99 (at time of review), these are a decent value as they seem well constructed even if not perfectly fitting (and few pants fit me perfectly). Read more
These pants are great. They just arrived today, and sadly I'll be putting them away until spring but I washed and dried them, then wore them doing some little projects around the house so I could properly review them. Pros - super comfy! They stretch nicely and the hook and eye enclosure doesn't press in on the belly when you're moving about. They have UPF 50, so they'll be great when outdoors on those days when it's easy to get sunburned. Speaking of sun, the pants are very light and airy with the wide leg and thin material, the heat will be less of a problem. Despite being so light a material, it feels like a quality fabric, though the water resistant nature threw me off a bit at first. I apparently didn't read or remember reading the waterproof part of the description. The stitching and seams are both very well done and I couldn't find any flaws on inspection. Even the grommets on the "button" seem better than most, The cut, or style is very classic. The pockets are actually deep enough to hold a few things without fear of items falling out when you sit. These are casual, but in a casual office setting I think they'd be fine. A nice top would look great and dress them up. Sizing appears to be true in the waist. Cons: the length could stand to be a little shorter. I'll be buying more of these in the future. Read more
These Capri are a bit big. The style doesn't look like the photo since it's very wide legged, while photo doesn't look as wide. The material is light... not cotton, but some other more synthetic fabric. The waist fits bit the length is a bit long for being capri. The back of the waist is elastic so there's a stretch to it. I will have to wear them as pants instead, which I'm ok with. I like the color and how it's casual. Read more
