Stretchy, lightweight and good petite fit. Could be tight at waist if you have an apple shape. They are soft and comfortable. Zippers seem ok and they are good for summer hiking. I ordered these as i need a pair of lightweight pants for hiking and walking as well as doing runabout errands and these seem to fit the bill. One thing that I was not sure about was the size as I measured myself but the measurements didn't match their sizing chart so I just ordered the size I usually wear which is either XS or SM. I gambled on XS regular length first and it was correct. They are a perfect fit (I am 5'2' and weigh around 105 Lbs). The length could be just a tad longer (my personal preference) but they do come right to the top of my shoes, so the extra long would have been too long. They look well made and the pockets are deep and roomy. They seem to be comfortable enough. I think I will really like these. I only gave a 4 star rating as I can't speak about durability or how they turn out after a wash as I have not worn them yet. If you decide to order these I don't think you will regret it, though. These pants are good quality, very well made, with a comfortable fit, and it is great to have a choice for the length. However, they are as hot as a thousand suns in our Texas summer as the fabric is not breathable at all, as far as I’m concerned. I would definitely return these if I had not waited so long to try to wear them and now I’ve missed the return window. I hope they’ll feel better in the winter weather. Read more

I purchased these pants for my morning walk now that the weather is cooler. When they arrived, I was a little dismayed by the appearance of the pant—the zipper pulls hanging from each and every zipper tab emphasized the fact that these were “sports” pants. Fortunately these fit great, were lightweight, and had plenty of (zippered) pockets, so I clipped and removed the ankle elastic and and detached all the zipper pulls. It was simple and now I love the pants for walking and enjoy them for other activities like shopping. Read more

I have worn and washed these pants a few times now and they are holding up nicely so far. The size is spot on and the material comfortable. I plan on using them for travel as they are easy to wash and dry fast. I removed the zipper pulls on one pair and am wearing them for dressing up now. Nice, comfortable, light weight material. Love the 6 zippered pockets; two in front, 2 cargo (one each thigh) & 2 in back. Cargo pockets in front can hold an iPhone. However, even though description & label reads 8% spandex there is about zero stretch which isn’t great for hiking. I’ve had pants with 4% spandex that had lots of stretch so I’m not sure what’s going on with these pants. I would recommend these for women with slim butts & thighs as I picked my size (small) from the size chart but these run tight in those areas. Good length for petite.
