I really didn't want it to be a little short either. It's PERFECT. Ties are just right. It wraps all the way around. Elegant, a little sheer and perfectly touches the ground without dragging. 5☆ Highly recommend. I was surprised with the fabric. I figured it was the sheer mesh fabric used for a lot of poolside attire. It isn't. It's almost like a crepe fabric. It's got a good weight with just enough sheer. I wear this year round with my swimsuits and get compliments every time. I am 5’ 120lbs rectangular shape and athletic build and the small fits me. To keep it off the ground I have to tie up at the waist (hi-waisted look) in the narrowest part of my body so it’s super flattering. Ordered in the color black and it’s beautiful. Material is lightweight, see through for a little bit of sexiness, and good quality. I’ve had it for about 6 years and it still looks new after washing and wearing regularly. I purchased this to wear to EDCO for a goddess theme and I felt so sexy in this! I am 5’8 and 125-130lbs and got a size S-M. The length is PERFECT for tall girls! It touches the floor barefoot when tied around my waist and with some shoes, it lifts just barely off the ground enough where racing in the dirt the bottom hem of my skirt didn’t get black! This is a very sheer white so it won’t do much to conceal anything, but adds a nice feminine touch. I was hoping I could fashion this skirt to be open in the front but it’s too wide, I would’ve had to cut the fabric off. Wore it once. Does not feel too thin or cheaply made. I ordered the 2X/3X sized one and it’s almost too big. It fits so well it doesn’t show any leg and I wanted leg out. This is with me tying it all the way to the end of the ties where the material drops. Being tied high waisted it was not too long and didn’t drag. I tied it once (high waisted above stomach) and it stayed for the duration of walking up and down the boardwalk, bus ride, dinner time and bar time as well. It felt like the knot got loose from the original tie a tad but I didn’t actually have to adjust it for it to stay in place. This may be different if you have no stomach. I thought that it was too small for the size. It didn't wrap all the way around, as I expected it too. The fabric feels delicate. I was afraid I was going to cause a run in it. The material is sheer, so I didn't feel like I was covering much up. I am sure that there are people out there very happy with this item. It just didn't work out for me. Read more
