Lies of P - PlayStation 5 game is a truly fresh take on the genre and delivers a satisfying experience. The story is gripping from the start, with characters you actually care about. The combat system feels fluid and is surprisingly deep once you get the hang of it. Visually, it's stunning on my PS5, and the performance has been rock-solid with no noticeable frame drops. The packaging from Amazon was also perfect, and it arrived sealed and on release day. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a new, immersive world to get lost in. Read more

This game is an absolute masterpiece. The combat is so satisfying and challenging, although I found the parry timing to be really difficult to pull off, but I always have trouble with parry mechanics. The environment and atmosphere is very reminiscent of Bloodborne, while still being it's own unique place and story. I really enjoy the NPCs, dialogue and lore of the game and the decision whether to lie or tell the truth makes it good for replay value. The best thing though, imo, is the customisation and variety of builds. You can mix and match with the type of blade and the hilt, giving a good variety to fit whatever your Playstation is, in lcluding breaking weapons down to tweak their performance depending on your hilt and blade combinations. The game is really just beautiful too. If you enjoy SoulsBorne games, you'll love this. Read more

I have played and beaten quite a few souls-likes, whether they are indies or from the great FS themselves. Sekiro, Elden Ring, Dark Souls trilogy. You name it, I've at least tried it. This I can say is in the top rung of indie Soulslikes--certainly better than Lords of Fallen and Mortal Shell. If you are waiting for Bloodborne 2, this might scratch your itch. I will note; it has more of a Sekiro-light combat system than Dark Souls but it does that very well and differentiates itself from the games it has taken inspiration from. Deflecting attacks feels good when you do it right, and the combat is satisfying once you learn how it works. Another plus is that important NPCs are marked for when they are ready to be talked to. One downside is that after a certain point, every single boss has a phase two encounter. Every. Single One. I've 100% this game, something I haven't done with many Souls games and even immediately went into NG+ i had so much fun to get the different endings. Read more

Very interesting concept, fun to play, but a bit more of a challenge than I expected and still don't quite understand the crafting mechanics. I'm sure that with time I will love it though Read more

Super fun new IP that’s what people call a souls like. It’s a learning curve when you play it. Don’t go in mashing buttons. If you like dark souls, bloodborne, Elden ring style games this is right at home with all those. It stands next to all of them game play and design wise as well. Read more
