The media could not be loaded. I had this product recommended to me by a friend. It was fantastic at first, used it for my sore back muscles and muscle spasms in lower and mid back as well as shoulders. Truly wonderful. Since it resolved my muscle issues, I only had to use it once in awhile, less than 5-10 minutes weekly. When using it on my girflfriend’s lower back, it suddenly got louder and had a weird vibration. I stopped, made sure everything was connected alright, and resumed using it. After 20-30 seconds there was a very loud noise and very strong vibration. I turned it off and there was obviously a component broken and rattling around inside. I have contacted the company to inquire about a replacement. Will update with 5 stars if they stand by their product and replace it. This massage gun has been used for less than a total of 2 hours run time over 12 months, it should last longer than that. Hope to update with a positive review soon. Edit: Contacted the company via email and phone. It took a couple days for them to call me back, but once they did they immediately authorized a replacement unit. I received a brand new unit (including battery and accessories) within a week. The malfunction occurred because of short screws and thin plastic housing that the internal motor is mounted to. Four screws hold it in place, but once some of the plastic weakens and breaks the motor is completely unsecured. Hopefully they have improved this defect within the last year. This product is fantastic, the quality of the product exceeds all others for a great price. I originally had one and it came damaged and Joel the co founder sent one out overnight shipping to make sure the problem was resolved. The entire experience with this company has been like no other. Best customer service I have ever experienced, very personable and puts the customer first. Back to the product though, it is very easy to use, operate and weighs not much at all. It comes with a variety of interchangeable attachments to get the specific areas you are targeting. The pain relief and massage this unit provides is worth every penny. The carrying case as well is high quality and the entire experience with this product seems like you paid for a $600-$800 unit when you paid $200 for a product that I believe is the top of the market. You will not regret purchasing this product if you are looking for one. I recommend this product to everybody. This can be used for typical aches and pains, recovery from injury, back pain, and body pain anywhere. This product is great for any area of the body you may have pain. I am very athletic, spend a good deal of time running, and have sore spots from my various training routines. I'd been hearing about the percussive massage tools and started looking in to them. There's the very high end of the market, which is prohibitively expensive for most people and then there's all the cheaper products made by fly by night companies that will disappear in a week. The guys making this product have struck a reasonable balance. The massage gun was more reasonably priced compared to their competition and they guarantee the product satisfaction and they are invested in making their customers happy. I got my massage gun and enjoyed it from the start. They have enough of the attachments for their gun that it can handle a pretty wide range of issues. The frequency settings cover a good range and I've never felt like I needed something more agressive/powerful. Most of the time I'm just using the low setting. The case that comes with the gun is actually pretty nice and compact. If you register with the company they give you the lifetime warranty and they will follow up with advice and videos to help with training if you are interested. The company seems to be run by exercise enthusiasts and they want to help you perform at your peak. I had my first gun for just about 6 months when it had an issue though. It jammed up and wouldn't turn on again. I was disappointed, but I remembered the lifetime warranty. So, I contacted the company told them what was wrong and they had a brand new one sent to me quickly. I'm back to massaging away my sore spots and I'd have to say that I feel taken care of by the company. They care about their product and their customers.
