I tried these on with my pants over my knees to start. The shaft is so tight I could barely get them zipped and it pinched so much it felt like I was zipping my skin up. There’s no way my skinny jeans/leggings would be able to go inside the boot. Once on they are not comfortable due to how tight they are but, oddly enough, the ankle area is super roomy. It’s odd and looks weird. I’m 5’2 and 125lbs so I can’t even image how tight these would be if I gained any weight. These are going back immediately. Read more

sizing: i’m usually a size 7 US/37 in EUR.. but the 6.5W was best. 4 stars: i absolutely love the look, length to of the shaft and comfort of the sole.. but its a 3.5 rating due to issues below. 2 star removed from poor construction/threading of the calf extender & material: i feel sad because the threading and stretching by the calf was done poorly (unclear if o have a defect or it’s like this with all boots). after one wear for 1 hour, the threads are fraying and looks bad. warning to check the stitching and to wear it around the house to see how the calf area responds.. see if the threads fray/loose. also, check for dirt and debris collected to see what it looks like . next steps - crossing fingers: i’m going to see if i can clean and repair in the next week. if i can’t i’ll like be returning. broader stitching feedbck: please improve the threading and stitching for the calf area that expands, this is your biggest issue because the calf area arguably is why ppl buy this boot. pls take more care in the stitching of this so threads don’t fray or fall apart so easily!!
