My 45lb puppy likes this sleeping bag, we set it up at home on his bed so he got used to it being his. Then when we went camping we set it up on his elevated coolaroo bed and he went right for it. He stayed warm until we were ready to get in the tent. My pup isn't a big cuddler, and he doesn't roll up into a little donut like other dogs. He just sleeps on his side with his legs out straight so I worry he'll get cold. When I set this up in our tent he laid on it and there was enough material to cover him up and because it's a soft material with filling I knew it'd keep him warm. Great addition to his camping gear. This is a great, affordable sleeping bag. My dog needed it on a recent backpacking trip where it got down to 40C. Kept him warm and easy to machine wash. Only 4 stars bc it could be slightly fluffier/more compressible, but I think I'd have to spend more money for that! I have a pitbull that was rescued from "dead dog beach" in Puerto Rico, where he was abandoned by his awful owner. He was emaciated, hit by a car, is totally blind (he fits right in with our visually impaired family! 🤣🥰), heartworm positive, and was definitely abused. He had a tough life before he came to live with us and the amazing thing is that he is incredibly loving. He follows me *everywhere* and cuddles up in my lap to sleep. Spoiled dog! In understanding that he came from an area that was consistently hot, he had a real shock when he came to live in the New England area. When I saw this, I figured I would give it a try because he won't sleep anywhere that doesn't have a blanket of some kind. So I bought this and, let me tell you, this was an instant hit for him.
