It worked out pretty well. One of the knives pops up, at the chef knife. It’s fine for just a limited number of cooking knives including large ones right down to the pairing knife, especially if you have the small space. I’m happy with it and I thought that when I placed it, I wouldn’t have room in my drawer for the many kitchen shares I have and other items, but I did so the size is really good unless you have a large space and then you would want a larger one and it’s sturdy or one also. Wow! This is a great little knife sorter. Instead of an unorganized knife drawer, now all the knives, large and small, have a magnetized slot that keeps them in place until you use them. It’s fantastic and doesn’t even take up the whole drawer’s space, so there’s room for other sharp things like a pizza cutter, veggie peeler, can opener, corn ends, etc. what a genius way to organize knives! Such a nice knife holder. The magnet works great in keeping the large knives down instead of rising up. Clever. I love having my knives secure in one drawer and not on my counter! Less clutter. Fits my drawer to a "t". Would have preferred the organizer in white and made of silicone but not deal breakers. No assembly and easy to clean. Read more

This product only works exactly as it is designed. Strong magnetic hold only if FLAT on countertop or inside a drawer. It does hold alot more knives than I expected. I have several different large knife sets (Kitchen) and this product fits them all nice & neatly! I originally purchased 2 because I didn't expect it to fit all my large knives- I planned to customize it myself to hold them vertically against the wall- However the magnets do not hold the knives vertically and the design does not allow you to alter the hold without sacrificing the "lower" holders used for small knives (steak knives for example). I ended up returning the unopened box and keeping the box I experimented with. Ultimately I reformed to conformity and I am using it as designed and directed- inside my kitchen drawer with extra room in the drawer to spare. Moreover the holder itself does not slide around either while opening/closing the drawer. Now I just need to figure out what to do with the extra space in my drawer! Read more
