Early days of the mat: I sweat a lot and the grip with this mat is amazing! I like the hand and feet placement lines. The lines help to ensure consistency in placement. Being a tall guy too, I find that the mat doesn’t move around on the floor. I’ve had mats from other brand that had moderately similar grip but would move too much on the floor. This is my favorite mat for yoga. I had a black liforme I got for Christmas last year took it on vacation this summer and left it. I tried going back to my old gaim mat but after having a liforme it just wasn’t good enough anymore. It’s like flying coach after you’ve experienced first class. For me I love that the liforme is a little bigger giving me more room for my practice. The weight and thickness are also key so that it doesn’t move around doing buti yoga and supports my joints. I also practice hit yoga and I never slip. For me the liforme is the best mat all around. I had to order a new one since I practice six days a week and my gaim just wasn’t meeting my standards anymore. It seems that everyone has black mats now so I love the red color of the dog mat. Everyone had Liforme mats at my old studio (I'm a yoga teacher). They truly are the best for hot yoga - they soak up everything so you don't even need a towel, and are still tacky enough to not be too dry. They are also thick and comfortable on the knees. The only down fall is that they are heavy. I got this one for my boyfriend and he loved it. the color and gold foiling are beautiful. He doesn't practice much, but it has held up very well over the past year. I have an orange one, and it has definitely gotten discolored over the years where my feet normally are. They soak up water so fast they can be hard to clean. but I still love it. Read more

I got this about a year ago! I love the alignments however I was tell the wear is happening! I wiped it and it scratched it up so kinda upset about it! Overall though it’s a good mat, a little heavy, I will say that you aren’t going to slip on this mat but if you do hot yoga like myself your feet will make some odd noises lol other than that planning on getting my aunt one for her birthday! This is a very pricey matto be fading and lose grip in less than a year. I got this mat last yr around this time. I have been trying to take very good care of it and the lines were my feet na d hands usually grib on the mat, are pealing off. Some parts specially are not as grippy anymore which I didn't expect to happen in just a year. Specially that I ONLY use the mat for a few sessions of yoga a week. I wish there was a warranty to get a replacement or something. $180 is too expensive for a mat that loses it's best features in just a yr. I had higher expectations for this price! Read more
