Great dog toy! We have had this for about a month. The charge lasts a long time even in the cold and snow, Our malamute loves playing with it, particularly at night. He chews on it pretty hard but there is no sign of wear or damage. We had a similiar product with a battery, the batteries drained fast and the lights didn' work most of the time. Read more

The media could not be loaded. @meandsamantha Love this! It's definitely our new favorite toy. Very well made. Probably not for throwing on concrete if you want it to last, but it's great in the grassy yard. I've thrown it a whole bunch with no problems. It's really bright and she even loves to toss it around herself. She seems to love the blinking lights as much as I do. She's black so all you see in the dark is the glowing ball. It's pretty heavy for a ball so not really for a small dog. Mine is about 45lbs and she just manages. It's made of a very firm rubber. My dog is a chewer so I wouldn't leave it unsupervised. She's bitten it pretty hard though and hasn't scratched it, but if left to it she would probably destroy it. Charges really fast and lasts. I haven't managed to drain it yet. If it dies on me, I'll update my review, but for now I highly recommend it! No one paid me to do this and I bought it myself. This is a genuine review. Read more

I mostly play with my dogs at night. I found that if I cannot see a tennis ball, they cannot see it very well themselves. I have gone through several glow in the dark balls that fade out within minutes and a few LED lit balls that die in two or three outings. This one, although 4 to 5 times the cost of glow in the dark balls, has held up for almost a month of nightly fetch games. Time will tell if it keeps working, but I have high hopes for it since it has already survived quite a beating. Update; Here it is, the end of September, and it decided it wasn't going to play any more. It decided to glow either green or blue depending on the switch position without changing colors at all. We still use it almost every night. I think this is the best LED ball on the market. Yes it is a pain to recharge and choose which mode to use, with having to take it apart every time. I can live with that. The fact that it has held up as long as it has is great. When it finally decides to die for good, I will purchase another one. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I've had this for a week and it's working great so far for nighttime chuckit. It's also been in snow and been wet and no malfunctions yet. It fits perfect in the medium chuckit launcher. I love the fact that it's rechargeable. I didn't even charge it when I got it and it was still super bright after using it for the last week. I decided to charge it because I wanted to see how long it took to charge which wasn't long. I'm very impressed so far. Prior to discovering this ball, I had spent so much money on the nite ize balls with batteries and the nite ize balls just ended up malfunctioning anyhow. This ball has a switch with three different settings on the inside piece: off, indoor, and outdoor. The indoor setting flashes colors and automatically turns off after inactivity, the outdoor will stay a solid color and stays on untill the battery drains. I leave mine on the indoor even though I use it for outdoor because I want it to flash and turn off automatically. It would be a pain to unscrew it to turn it off when done playing. I really like this ball, I just hope it holds up. Read more

I have bought 3 of these lighted Balls. They are Awesome! I use them for fetch play In the dark because my Dutch Shepard needs to play fetch even when the day's are dark when I come home from work. She LOVES the balls. HOWEVER - Before we even did our first charge on any of the balls the part of the ball that the light screws Into comes out. My dog does not use it at as a chew toy she only fetches It in the dark and brings It back for me to throw again for her exercise. I would give this product a 5 star review If the lighted part did not come out..... It did It on all 3 of the ones I purchased. When I asked the company to send more balls (Not the charging lighted part of the ball) No reply. I am bummed because the balls are AWESOME If the screw In lighted part did not come out ON ALL 3 of the ones I purchased... It's an awesome product If It wouldn't break before the first charge...... Wish the company would reach out and make It right. Read more

Dog loves it! Glows! However, didn't last long, as it has already fallen apart after a few weeks. The part that is in the ball to screw the charging aspect to has also come out of the ball so now its just a ball with a hole. Read more

A good toy for what it's designed to do, but it needs a better design to open it after it's all wet from dog drool. Great as a fetch toy at night. The pro and con of how well the treaded LED light switch compartment is... Before your dog gets it a slobbery wet it's not problem, but forget after you've played with it and need to turn it off. There are 2 settings to have it constantly on until the battery dies, or another to only stay on for 5 minutes. My dog sometimes will stop tracking it and I don't want to risk the 5 min of losing it. Fits in a chuck it thrower, is a tad heavier than a normal light up ball, batteries held up so far, and it's not gotten chewed up - (Although I don't let my dog chew this. It's just for fetch.)
