I really wanted to love this orange “mushroom” table lamp because the Bauhaus vibe looks so good in photos, and when it’s lit up the orange glass gives off a cozy warm glow that makes our bedroom feel nicer right away. But in person the paint/finish on the metal parts just isn’t great up close (mine had little uneven spots that made it look cheaper than it should), and once it’s assembled it doesn’t feel as snug as I expected, there’s a slight looseness/wobble that you keep noticing whenever you bump the nightstand or adjust it. It’s still cute from a few feet away and does the job, but the build quality kept it from being a 4–5 star lamp for me. Read more

Upon inspecting this lamp, they used premium materials throughout the build. The lamp shade is real glass and is thick and glazed beautifully. The base is very heavy and made out of real wood!. This lamp needs to be assembled, but it is straightforward even without instructions. This light came with a low watt LED bulb to save electricity. You can always upgrade the bulb to a stronger watt for brighter light. The cord length is ample and reaches around a nightstand or desk.
