These shorts are made of a thin, light fabric and feels like an athletic short I would use for working out at the gym. The shorts hang loose and are not elastic. The waistband is elastic with a drawstring. They fit tighter than I was expecting, but the length is normal for this type of short, falling just above the knee. I normally buy pants with a 34" waist. I bought the size L and these fit with no room for growth. The pockets are all zippered with an orange cord. The product picture shows a black cord which is not what I received. Overall, these shorts seem are fine as casual workout wear, but for the price I was expecting more, and I always want the product description to be accurate to the product I actually receive.
