I needed a WHITE backpack and bought this because it looked white in the picture. Turns out the description actually said 'beige'. It wasn't really beige either, it was more off-white. It was good enough for what I needed it for. Aside for the color, it is a really nice, good-sized, sturdy backpack with great padding for electronics. Read more

I have been looking for a medium sized, simple and inexpensive backpack that I can just throw around while travelling without the worry of breaking it. Most of the inexpensive ones I saw were either made with thin and flimsy material with very little substance or cheap looking. This backpack fits my need perfectly, I ordered the light Grey color which is beautiful and stands out since most people carry black color backpack when travelling. The material is thick and yet soft to the touch. It is waterproof so easy to clean. Workmanship is fantastic for the price, the stitches are perfectly sewed and feel secured and durable. This backpack has a very simple layout, just 4 big pockets and an anti-theft back pocket which are all very deep. The front smaller pocket I use for Kindle reader or an 8" tablet (or both). All other 3 front pockets are floor to ceiling deep. The one behind the tablet pocket(2nd front pocket) can easily fit a 16" laptop with room left for files. However, I did find the computer pocket lack of protective padding especially for the bottom of the bag which is too thin to provide any protection to the computer. So I have to carry the computer with a protective sleeve just in case. Good thing that the pocket is still big enough to accommodate them. The 3rd front pocket is the biggest one and is big enough for jackets or overnight clothing and toiletry kit. The back anti-theft pocket is perfect for valuables or passport and is big enough for a 10" tablet. The entire back of the backpack and the straps are padded so its very comfortable to wear. There are 4 thick gauge plastic hooks to hang stuffs with. 2 hooks located below the front pocket and 1 hook is located on the front of each strap. The 2 water bottle/umbrella side pockets are the deepest I have ever seen. An entire 20oz water bottle would disappear into it and the elastic band would keep it from falling out. There are also straps on top of the side pockets to help keep the longer items (such as an umbrella) secured. I do find them a bit annoying as they are in the way when I try to insert or pull the water bottle out from the pockets. In summary, this backpack is absolutely value for money. It can carry a lot of weight without fear of falling apart. If there is one thing that I like to see improvement to this backpack is to have additional padding to the bottom of the bag for better protection to the fragile stuffs (such as a laptop). Therefore the 4 stars rating instead of a 5. Read more
Excellent for the price, perfect for my 5th graders school bag. Read more
Great water proof backpack. It holds water - you could literally fill it with water and walk around sloshing. It does leak slowly, so it's not watertight, but pretty close! I am impressed with how much it holds. I can carry 2 laptops in the laptop compartment, a large water thermos in each of the super deep side pockets, school books, binders, pens, and lunch and still have wiggle room. The zippers slide smoothly. No snagging at all. The material is kind of like vinyl, so it isn't sensory-safe. But it is quality material that is durable and will last a long time. Super easy to clean - just wipe with a damp cloth. It's a great compact and lightweight backpack that can hold a lot of stuff. Highly recommend for college, high school, and elementary students. This is a simple backpack, exactly what I was looking for. I just needed something to safely carry my work laptop and two sets of headphones back and forth to work. It has more spaces/pouches/zippers than I’ll probably ever use. That being said, it has fewer pockets than my son’s backpack that I compared it too. The pockets on this backpack are generic while the pockets on my son’s backpack looked to be design for specific items. There is a pocket on the front that’s too small to slide my tablet (in its case) into, and a pocket on the back that I think would make it uncomfortable to wear if anything other than flat paperwork was put into it. I doubt I’ll ever use either of those pockets. The side pockets are just big enough to hold my 12 oz and 20 oz tumblers. There is also a strap just above each side pockets to help secure taller tumblers. This strap is almost too close to the pocket and kind of gets in the way of using the pocket. I loosened the strap all the way and that made it easier to work around it. I did notice that my son’s backpack has two straps on each side to hold tumblers or bottles that don’t fit in the side pockets. This backpack only has one strap. The side pockets on this backpack also have elastic where his does not, so it was easier to slide my coffee tumbler into this backpack. The shoulder straps are padded making this backpack comfortable to wear. I think the only thing missing is a front strap/clip to help keep the shoulder straps from sliding off my shoulders. Since I’m using this for short distances, from the car to the office, and I’m not overpacking it, I don’t really need a front strap/clip. My laptop in its own protective sleeve easily fits in the first pocket, leaving the main larger area of the backpack available for other items. Stitching looks spot on with no loose threads or missed seams, no fraying fabric. All the zippers operate smoothly. I like the looks of this backpack better than my son’s. I’m happy with it. Read more
