Customers find the game to be an amazing and fun yakuza experience, with one mentioning it keeps them busy with side quests. The collector's edition receives positive feedback, and while some it's worth every penny, others find it a bit pricey.

Great game.

I love Majima and this is a great game. There are mentions of previous games doing you haven’t played those you might be a little lost about who people are and why they are important. Possible spoiler: if you like ship battles this game has some. Read more

Awesome box set!!!

BrianSeptember 7, 2025

I picked this up for My Son for a gift and it definitely was a hit with all the stuff as long as you’re a fan of the series you will not be disappointed, even if you got this for somebody coming into the series, especially the newer games. It will definitely win their hearts over. Read more

A swashbuckling great adventure staring Majima.

William Edward BarnesJuly 10, 2025

Absolute blast to play. Definitely the shortest RRG game I have played, clocking in less than 40 hours to get all of the PlayStation trophies, none of it seemed rushed or incomplete. There was plenty to do and even when there were parts that require the player to grind either battles or in game currency, there were plenty of options to choose from to complete whatever needed to be done anyway you want to do it. Even for completions sake, nothing feels like it overstays it's welcome, however irritating it may seem at times, it will not take long to finish the mini game or task, and even if it doesn't go well, with plenty of other choices to distract yourself and work to other goals until you come back in a better state of mind to finish what has been stated. The air combat being the newest addition to the series, it was clunky to use at first but became an amazing way to have an edge in combat as the player almost exclusive control to fighting in the air giving the player a huge advantage throughout the fight, although using it with out proper care can be just as detrimental as it is helpful. Truly a joy to play from start to finish. Read more

Another fun yakuza game

MalekoFebruary 24, 2025

As per usual Yakuza series, this one has a little twist in that Majima becomes a pirate lol. The fighting and other discovery aspects of the game series are still there and lets you switch between fighting as a pirate or just the typical majima. Honolulu has all the vibe of the real city and you get a taste of how waikiki, ala moana and chinatown are so it's fun. You can hear various languages in the background while exploring hawaii, with authentic pidgeon english (hawaiian local talk), japanese and english tourists lol. Instead of running around the city, you can get a segway and go cruising on that, which saves time looking for all the stuff around town. Also manning the pirate ship is sort of fun in it's own way. Anyways, wont spoil the story, but for those who never played these types of games. The story has a flow that is regulated by the game so as you go, you learn what is going on with the characters. So it's not exactly a open world type of game. The traversing to one location to another had me confused at first, as it uses the same island map for all the locations you go to, but you have to select a sub map like honolulu when you want to traverse to honolulu and stuff like that. At first i was just cruising around the main ocean map wondering where to go lol. Anyways fun game, i think i played 8 hours the first day and it appeals to those who have that unspoken thoughts of cleaning up the city lol. Read more

Criminally Underrated

CustomerJune 6, 2025

I was one of the people that pre ordered the collectors edition, and this is the only collectors edition I’ve bought for a game that I didn’t have some regret over later (PAYDAY 3). The storytelling is exceptional and while some might not like how far we’ve come from Yakuzas fighting each other in Japan, this is a solid title. This isn’t turn based either unlike Infinite Wealth. In closing, this is the only Yakuza that anyone has a real shot at getting the platinum in. End of story. Buy the game! Read more

A bargain if it's bought on sale

JdiemondSeptember 19, 2025

I absolutely loved how SEGA had a $30 off sale for the Like A Dragon collector boxes! For $70 I think it's a great bargain but for $101 (tax included), I think it's overpriced. I recommend waiting for a sale. The acrylic stand comes in high grade acrylic and image of Majima. The stand it comes with, is good quality and there's no risk of accidentally breaking it OR having stand fall over. The badge is high quality metal and dense! It has two pins to properly attach it to jacket, shirt or bag etcetera. The eye patch surprisingly stitched (embroidered?) the snake well and the cotton isn't itchy either. This could easily fit a small, medium or large head and cover the eye properly. The flag is much smaller than I thought it would be. If I'm being honest, this was one of the reasons I mentioned only buying this collector's box if it's on sale. It's about the size of a medium pillow case. The DLC content is crazy good! I got 12 add ons and if the calculation is correct, I saved at least $15-$20 because of the collector's box. Oh, and the expiration is good until 2035. No worries about needing to rush and buy box. It was worth every penny, to me.

Brandon M.April 2, 2025

I highly enjoyed the game, the Collector's Edition is awesome, it's not for everyone, but I enjoyed getting it and playing the game. I got exactly what was advertised and I don't regret it, for a second. Read more

A Must Play!

Jon-Mark WilsonMarch 27, 2025

These are games I love and really enjoy playing. It has much of gaming history packed into it. Sega does very well with their Yakuza/Like A Dragon Franchises so much! I never thought I’d get into it but every since I played Yakuza 0 Kiwami I’ve been all up in it and have enjoyed it crying manly tears and playing the game with a stupid smile on my face. It’s gaming comfort food up there with Dragon Quest and other Nintendo titles! Thank you and I can’t wait to start it. Ima saving it for when I can play it uninterrupted and unbothered. Read more
