I bought these for my daughter to use under her ballet dress. It was dress up as your favorite sport day at school and of course since she is a ballerina she wanted to wear her ballet outfit to school for that day. So I had to get something that was similar to the color of her ballet outfit to cover her up down there per school dress code. And it was perfect. These are great shorts. We have purchased them in a few other colors and they fit true to size. I gave them 4 stars because the product color on the picture of the yellow is not accurate at all. We were trying to match a cheer uniform that is more golden yellow, like the picture. The yellow color is actually more of a bright yellow.
