I am totally not satisfied with this purchase: 1. the transparent plastic part on the lid gave crack at the first week of usage. 2.the two compartiment inside are not totally separated, therefore the food floods from one too another, making a messy mixture. The question is, why at all make the division into two? 3. the box cannot keep heat (even just warmth) for just 4 hours. I pack the lunch at 7 and at 11 my kid eats it already cold. So - not insulate. 4. to clean the yellow lid is very difficult because of the tiny narrow tunnels around the lid (see the arrows on the picture). 5. doesn't worth the money at all!!! So this purchase was totally useless, no warm food, no two separate dishes, no easy cleaning, nothing. Just a nice look, which was gone with a crack as well. Read more

I purchased this for my elementary school-age daughter's lunch. The portion size is good for her but could potentially be too small for an adult. My daughter reported that the food was room temperature/slightly warm at her lunch time ~4.5 hours after I placed the food in the container. I prewarmed the container with boiling water inside the reflective bag for 5-7 minutes and then immediately placed her freshly cooked meal inside. This provided no change to the warmth of the food. I did notice air bubbles seeping from the edge where the stainless steel meets the plastic. My daughter did state that she sometimes has trouble getting the lid off. I think if you needed to keep your food warm for an hour or 2, this product would work. If you need a longer time span, I would look into other options. Read more

Works great for my daughter's school lunch. Her food is packed by 5am and lunchtime is at 11:30 am To ensure food is kept warm until lunchtime I add boiling water to the bowl, cover and allow to sit for 1 hour. I will empty the water , dry the bowl , place the hot food inside and cover right.away. I will release the steam before placing in the littlecase, then place both in a proper insulated lunchbag. I also add a pyrex hotpack to the main lunchbag so the food has warmt throughout the bag. Read more
