This was our first time trying this brand. We have a Golden Retriever puppy who loves to play outside and this past week got really dirty and started to stink horribly. The Arm & Hammer Odor Control shampoo did not help matters when we tried it last week, my dog actually smelled worse after bathing with it. The Lillian Ruff shampoo and conditioner bundle arrived this morning and we were excited to try it after reading so many positive reviews. It smells clean and fresh, in an organic way- not overwhelming at all. In the bath, it made a really great lather that penetrated my dog's coat easily, the lavendar also helped to keep him calm while bathing and I was able to rinse it out quickly and easily. The conditioner is soft and smooth without feeling greasy or heavy. It made brushing our puppy so easy once he was dry. I am ordering another set because my dog smells heavenly and am ecstatic with the quality of this product. There's no harsh chemicals and it does what it claims to do, totally worth every penny! I used this on my beagle that has sensitive skin and he's very sensitive to smells so when I wash him i have to use something with no smell. This has no added fragrance and I can tell, it smells kinda weird i don't know how to describe it. But it worked for his sensitive skin and cleans so well. It's kind if watery so I felt like I need to use more to soap him up but it did great. Read more
The Lillian Ruff Oatmeal Shampoo is a great product. At the first bath for my German Shepherd, who has a thick coat, the itching was eliminated. She enjoyed the massage with the shampoo brush, and the soap was not as soapy as the shampoo I had been using so rinsed easily leaving her coat soft and lusterous with a pleasant fragrance. I’ve been using Lilian Ruff for over a year now, my dog loves it. Her dry skin is an issue in extremely hot/cold environments so this product keeps her skin less inflamed and dry due to the oatmeal. She likes bath time because of it and the scent is DIVINE 😩 and it lasts! Boy did I get lucky ordering this wonderful Doggie shampoo. It's everything I was looking for. My sweet dog had several spots where she had been licking and as a result her tail and front paw were nibbled on a daily basis. I took a chance with this and the result was unbelievable after one shampoo. It's the second day and her fur looks gorgeous. She's a black dog and the shampoo made her glow. The scent is wonderful.
