Soft and warm but the Large is pretty large with long sleeves. 5 ft. tall, 165 pounds and it's plenty big, but a Medium might not have wrapped around my middle. The fabric is 100% synthetic but very soft. Comes in weird packaging, vacuum sealed and flattened, pressed down, so that initially it looked like it was made of Felt and not woven of yarn. I ordered this sweater towards the end of summer and it has become one of my most favorite and worn sweaters through the Fall. The Lillusory brand continues to introduce new products that are stylish and comfortable and I've ordered several of their items. While I typically wear an XL in tops from this brand, I read the size chart and chose Large and it does fit true to the size chart. The taupe color is great and goes well with jeans and a white top. The fabric is soft and has the 'inside out' seams that add some visual interest. It also washes well (cold water wash and line dry). It is a little bulky to wear under a coat due to the sleeves but works great for those fall days when it gets a bit chilly during the early and late parts of the day and also great to wear inside. This oversize chunky sweater is great for fall and easy to honestly just throw on and go, the color and texture are rich, soft and fluffy in a way. I do like that it looks trendy and isn't long but sort of short, but depending on how tall you are that can differ.
