It’s just like the crocheted vests we had in the 70s! It’s made from crochet thread and not yarn so it’s not thick, which is how it should be. Since it’s thread it’s very soft. AI wants me to say something about seeing through it. Of course you can see through. It’s crochet and it’s got holes! 🤦♀️ The most important thing is that it is genuinely like the hippie aesthetic that we had in the 70s. And it makes me smile. With wide legs jeans? Good quality, soft, nice vest tank. Light enough to wear in Florida summer. I usually wear a L/XL, and this XL fits loosely. I snagged it on a 50% off sale after eyeing it for a couple of months, so I definitely think it is worth the money. I did feel that with the single tie in the front, it was too risqué for my taste (if you wear a bra it will show) so I cut the ties in half and sewed them on further down to make two ties.
