This cardigan was exactly what I expected. Sizing was accurate—I’m 5’6”, 155 lbs and ordered my normal size large. It fit nicely, able to button without gaping or pulling, but also not baggy. While described as “cropped,” it actually hits at the waist and works well for business casual outfits or events. The sleeves are a bit wider at the wrist than some I’ve owned, but not sloppy. They’re easy to push up for a 3/4-sleeve look or wear down like the model photos. The fabric is lightweight but not sheer, a nice in-between weight that makes sense for fall, spring, or a climate-controlled office. The color is a perfect shade of red—exactly like the listing. The buttons feel sturdily attached, and it even comes with a spare button on the hang tag, which is a thoughtful touch. It can easily be worn open, fully buttoned, or somewhere in between. It's not as "soft" as some, but might soften after washes, and it's not scratchy. Maybe it will be the thing that helps it hold its shape better over time than some I've had in the past. I have been trying to bulk up my wardrobe lately, so when I saw this sweater, I thought I'd give it a try. First of all, it came packaged beautifully and without any damage. Second, the color is 100% spot on to what is shown in the listing (sidenote, I would describe a typical "camel" color as almost a mustardy brown. this is more of a taupe or even a stone color). The construction of this piece is nearly perfect (a few stray strings never hurt nobody!). The buttons are a complimentary color (nothing worse than finding a gorgeous sweater with ugly buttons!). The fabric is SOFT, just thick enough, and feels expensive. In fact, if you handed this to me with the tags removed, I would literally guess that this came from G-P or B-nana R-public, no joke... It's THAT nice. For reference: I am 5’8”, 215lbs, 40C, hourglass figure but carry most of my weight around my midsection. I got this sweater in an XL and it fits perfectly... very true to size. Currently, this sweater is priced at $22.99 - A STEAL. The only info you need to really take note of here is that this is a hand wash only/hang dry piece. However, that's to be expected because all nice sweaters have the same care instructions!
