This is a great 2 piece set. I bought the color rose taupe which is a nice neutral dark beige. The fabric is medium weight, so soft and made of rayon and spandex which gives it lots of stretch. I put this on slightly wrinkled from being folded and the wrinkles diminished within about 10 minutes of putting it on and wearing it. It’s comfortable and easy to wear for any casual occasion and perfect for traveling. The top is perfectly oversized for the fitted and tight shorts. The shorts length is mid thigh and they have one large outside right pocket perfect for your keys, cell phone, ID/credit cards and more. You can wear this outfit casual or you can dress it up with accessories and shoes. This is a simple yet very high quality well-made outfit and a great value for the money. I was very excited about this set when I saw that it’s made of 92% rayon. The fabric quality gets 5 stars from me. The color is very pretty too. I’m around 135 and I got it in a Medium. The top fits me very well… I especially appreciate the mock neck and the longer length (which is such a rare find lately in this bizarre era of crotch-displaying crop tops). I also love that the top is slightly longer in the back, which means I can comfortably wear it with leggings, even light semi-sheer ones. I have zero complaints about the top. In fact, I would give it 10 stars if I could. The shorts, on the other hand, weren’t a good fit for me. You see, this set would be perfectly designed for ladies without a perfectly thin waist. The top is an oversized and relaxed fit, but unfortunately the shorts have really missed the mark here. Someone though it was a good idea to sew an overly thick and hard 3/4” wide hidden elastic band into the waist of the shorts and basically limit the waist to 26 inches, which basically favors ladies with a perfect waist. That’s a bummer. I ordered a Medium to make sure I’m not squeezed in the waist area. I expected the waist band to be at least 27.3” wide before stretching. The existing band unfortunately digs deep into my belly and sides making it really uncomfortable. I wish they chose a wide soft band without any harsh hidden elastics inside, but that’s my personal preference. I’ve never had shorts falling off of me because they didn’t have an additional elastic band sewn in. :) Bottom line… I would absolutely love this set and would have given it 10 stars if it wasn’t for that weird elastic band. I will be wearing the top with leggings and capris. The shorts unfortunately are not going to work for me unless I lose 5 inches of my waist. If you’re a proud owner of a tiny waist, you will likely love this set! If your waist isn’t tiny and you mind being squeezed in the middle, then at this price point ($33), buying this set just for the top (which is really nice!) ultimately may not be worth it. I love the way this lounge set fits. I ordered a 2X and it’s loose enough to be comfortable yet the shorts are snug enough to not fall. For reference, I am 205lbs and 5’6”. It’s comfortable enough to wear to bed! So soft, made very well and the material is heavy but breathable. Great for women like me who are perimenopausal and have hot flashes. I’ve worn it several times and it has washed and dried very well. No unraveling at the seams or discoloration. And NO SHRINKING! I wash in cold water and tumble dry on low heat. It dries perfectly every time. I love the mauve-pink color and definitely plan to order another set or two. I love that there is a pocket on the right hand side of the shorts, but wish there was one on the left side too. That’s the ONLY thing I would change about this sit. Definitely worth the price! Based on the dimensions, I was between the XL and XXL. I went with the XXL because usually clothing on Amazon seems to run small. I should have gone with the XL. It’s supposed to fit baggy but this is a bit too baggy. The shorts fit ok, but they are loose enough that I couldn’t use the pocket for my phone. The pants kept sliding down when I tried. The shirt is an uncomfortable baggy where it slides down my shoulders and I just keep having to readjust it. It’s more frumpy on a plus size person because it’s not fitted on areas we need it to be fitted like the shoulders and sides. The material is soft but kind of cheap and thin. It’s a comfortable fabric, but I just wouldn’t consider it worth $30 fabric. Read more
