These work well and the floss doesn't break/slip out while in use. I've bought name brand floss picks at the grocery store and the floss slips out of holder so you have to get a second to finish the job. Lily & Edith Plant Based Dental Floss Picks are exactly what I was looking for. A plant based or not petro/chemical based plastics without flouride. This product fit my needs. The two biggest downsides with this product is the obvious price is way too high. Outrageous price for something that is using less materials and ingredients. the last reason is they break. the pick almost always eventually breaks for me. i still recommend this product over the main stream ones out there. Edit: I FOUND OUT THE THREAD IS MADE OF PLASTIC. If you are buying to avoid micro plastic in your floss, LOOK ELSEWHERE! (ORIGINAL) The floss in my most recent box has a much weaker and more flexible handle than the previous version. (It is also a different color, not that it matters, but it reinforces that it's a new version.) It is so bendy now that it is difficult to get enough force into the movement to actually floss because all the energy gets absorbed by the flexible handle. The pointed tip is also less effective because it just bends when you try to use it in a crevice. I'm guessing this is a cost-cutting measure, but if the floss is almost unusable, then why should I keep buying it, no matter how cheap it is? Read more

updated/revised review * i don’t know why but these suddenly started breaking with every single use causing me to use 2-3 to get all my teeth done which is wasteful both in product and money original review* these work just as well as the standard flossers. & the large quantity (nearly a years worth of flossers) justifies the price. i do wish the end was blunt instead of sharp because it makes it uncomfortable to use. luckily it snaps off easily so i just break it before using. it’s worth the quick extra step to not cause unnecessary waste, which i regretfully did for years with plastic flossers.
