I'll admit, I'm not an expert at silk quality. But coming from high count cotton sheets, these mulberry silk sheets feel incredible! I washed them first, and tonight's my first night. So far, I love them. Will update of my opinion changes. Packaging and extra touches from this company were also impressive. Good Product / Great Company. We have purchased sheets from this company several times over the years. This last time the stitching on the pillow cases started to come apart soon after use. I contacted the seller, sent them photos, and they sent us replacement pillow cases. Pleased that the seller supported the product, although they had no obligation to do so. I purchased these sheets in October of 2022. They are very soft, comfortable, great "feeling" sheets. They are cool, and certainly feel different than traditional cotton or satin sheets. I loved these sheets and despite the very high cost, I was happy I spent the extra money to purchase a real silk sheet set. Considering the high cost of these sheets, I expected these to last several years. We always followed the directions on washing these sheets: they were always washed alone, in cold water, on a delicate cycle. Once they sheets were washed, we would hang them in the laundry room for a couple of hours, and then move them to the bed to finish drying (with our Bed Jet). Fast forward to 15 months later, we noticed a tear in the fitted sheet. This tear is towards the center of the sheet; not along the corners or edges of the sheet where it's stretched over the sides of the mattress. Had I known these sheets would only last 1.5 years, I would not have spent over $350 on them. I would expect a $30 sheet set to tear in 1.5 years, and I wouldn't have any issue spending $30 every year or so. But $350 sheets should last much longer than this. I reached out to the seller to discuss this issue. I knew they wouldn't be under a full warranty, but at the same time these sheets should last longer. I've never had a cotton or satin sheet tear, especially in the middle of the fitted sheet. They offered a measly 5% discount on another set, which I declined. In the beginning, the sheets were lovely. Cool, soft, and smooth. Great colors. They seemed reasonably priced. My only issue was how sheets and comforters would slide off the bed, but that's to be expected with silk sheets. It's now been 6 months, and I'm currently sitting in my pilly sheets. For the cost, I did not expect them to pill so badly or quickly. I washed the sheets a handful of times, by hand, using silk washer, and hung them out to dry. No washer, no drier, no abrasives, no harsh chemicals. I've tried my best to baby them. But, here we are. I will not be purchasing again. I will not be using these for guest rooms, or gifting them to my friends. I've had my current mulberry pillow cases for 2 years, and they never pilled, so imagine my surprise. Read more
