Mom son loves this LEGO set. He is a huge Harry Potter fan and a LEGO lover so it was a match made in Heaven. He has always enjoyed trying to create little characters from his existing LEGO sets. He has had some success but he has never been able to create anything like what this set builds. It was easy for him to assemble, which is not saying much given his experience with LEGOS. His sister, on the other hand, has almost no LEGO experience. She loves Harry Potter too and begged to put Ron together. She built Ron as easily as her Brother built Dumbledore. They chose not to put them on the included bases because they thought they looked trapped. After assembly they had hours of fun playing with them.
