Perfect sized and soft beach towel

I live in Florida so we have three kinds of towels: bath towels, pool towels and beach towels. We are always on the lookout for large AND soft beach towels because when we go to the beach, we don't take multiple towels per person...we take one so it has to be a good one. This is the perfect size beach towel...not ridiculously large and not too small. I love that it's also very soft...extremely soft. I was shocked because quite a few beach towels, especially the patterned ones or printed ones, look nice but are like sandpaper. This one is SOFT. When I first take any towel out of the package I wash it and use a fabric softener sheet because it's not really fair to try a towel that just came vacuum sealed. That said, it was pretty soft out of the package...nowhere near as soft as when I washed it but not bad. It also didn't flake half the towel into the lint trap of the dryer which tells me it was made with quality in mind. No loose threads either and no color bleed. Overall I am very happy with this towel and would most definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a nice soft but absorbent beach or pool chair towel. Totally worth it. Read more

It's a great towel, but it's not exactly what I expected

When I see a listing for a Turkish cotton towel, I expect to receive a towel that is more sand repellent than water absorbent. This towel is actually a little of both, so not what I expected. The "decorated" side is very much like a standard towel and absorbs water well. The other side is more like a standard Turkish cotton towel with lesser water absorption but it does repel sand pretty well. Overall, I think this is one of the better beach towels I have, but it didn't match my perception of what I was going to receive based on the description. Read more
