If you’re like me, and you’ve scoured Amazon trying to find the perfect product by reading all the reviews and wading through every last detail, then you will appreciate this review. After ordering a new mattress from Amazon, I was quickly disappointed to realize that the firmness was just much more than I could handle. I have chronic shoulder pain and regular lower back pain that become 10 times worse based on what I’m sleeping on and how my shoulders rest. After reading the reviews on this particular topper, I felt confident that it could provide the softness that I need while also still providing support. After having it several weeks, I can say that I am very pleased. This topper does a great job of allowing my shoulders and back to sink in a little while still providing the support that I need and not negatively triggering pressure points like other mattresses do. I would specifically recommend this, if you were looking for something to go on top of a firm mattress, because it really does a great job of compensating for what an overly firm mattress lacks. This morning, my husband told me that he was shocked when he woke up and noticed that I was still sleeping, and that he hadn’t woken me as he normally does due to my being such a light sleeper and always being uncomfortable in the bed. I am so glad that I made this purchase and would 100% recommend it. I’ll also add, we have a king bed so I bought a twin to specifically put on my side of the bed, and it fit perfectly. It’s been absolutely wonderful, allowing me to have the comfort I need, but still allowing my husband to have the firm mattress he was looking for. I hope this helps! I used this as a topper on my queen pillow top. I have a bad back and the bed had gotten to firm. I've used other memory foams like this and this ranks right up there with comfort. It's actually the cooler of those I've used. The only drawback, and it's significant, is the material has started to separate all of the way through in a few spots and that was after only a few sleep cycles. I don't believe this will hold up very long. I will keep this because, if it does fall apart more, I have other uses for the memory foam, such as seats for tree stands, ground blinds, chairs, etc... There's no reason for this to wind up in a landfill for the next 10, 000 years. Would I buy again? At this point, that's a coin toss leaning towards yes. The product is well worth the price...again, the only drawback is that I'm afraid it's going to fall apart...maybe not...maybe it's just "settling". 4 stars without hesitation. Read more
We have loved our king sleep number bed because of the side by side air adjustable firmness. My wife setting is 70, I am 50. We had the older C model, no topper, so we always added a 3" memory foam topper and a plush, pillowy, water proof, mattress pad. The combo of dialing in the firmness with the air, and plushness of the topper & pad gave us the best sleep. It is awesome. Now, we get a new bed, cuz we wanted the base to tilt up the head (and feet) which helps for snoring. We need a spit king (3 twin-xls) for the this. Loved the tilting, snoring is better, but hated the foam toppers that came with the i8. It's foam did not really spring back and had only 1/4 inch bumps. We removed them and replaced them with two twin-XL of these 3" memory foam toppers. They resembled the king version we had before. The bumps add cooling as previously. We loved them. As good, if not better than our old ones. Out of the box, they smelled just a bit, and it dissipated before we slept on them the first night. They unrolled and puffed up in less than 20 min. They fit well on the twin-XL mattress and the pad held them in place individually very well. You can see that they are really 3.4 in high (in picture) to the peaks and 2 in in the valleys. They also spring back nicely as our old ones did when you press your hand on. We bought these tentatively because of all the reviews and varying pictures. But they look like they should, blue, thick and bumpy, and work like they should too. I think the bad reviews and pictures are all old ones or from a bad batch or something. We Love em. A bit pricey for the pair of twin-xls to make a king. Thought about buying the cheaper solo king version and then just cutting them in half but didn't. They should sell tow xl-twins as a pair and give a discount. PS: The WhatsBedding Waterproof Mattress Pad Twin XL pair nicely with these memory foam toppers. Nice and puffly and plush pads. Read more

Back on June 19, 2019, my wife got this exact same 2-inch topper for our BedInABox queen bed in our park home; and it has been great. We loved it so much that I ordered the same 2-inch topper to replace the Tempur-Pedic 3-inch topper on our new BedInABox mattress at our permanent resident. After several hours waiting on it to expand out, I tried to shake it a little with my hands on one side of the topper. To my surprise, the topper just broke all apart rendering it useless. There was no way of returning it to Amazon, so it went in the trash can on the street; and the garbage man has already run, so no way to go back and take photos that I should have done. Super comfortable but it fits not last long. It is too easy to get holes in the product. The directions say that you can pull it to position it and it will be fine. This is not true. It's too big and bulky to try and send back due to defects. If you get one with defects like I did, it will rip quickly. Read more
