I washed the pad as soon as I got it. One, to soften up the fabric, and two, to see how much this thing would shrink. To my delight it softened up nicely, and didn't shrink. It fits my deep mattress California King bed like a charm, with room to spare. It is so comfortable too. It appears to be good quality, although it has only been on the bed a week. It hasn't been that hot this summer here in L.A. to find if it really is waterproof. I haven't sweated enough in my sleep to accurately test its absorbancy. Soon enough though! Read more

These protectors work wonders and are absolutely water proof! My toddlers have wet the bed at night multiple times, spilled their water and even daddy's coffee on these and the mattresses were unaffected! I got the COTTON TERRY TOP in twin for their beds about a year ago and returned recently to get them in queen for all our beds in the house; I wasn't satisfied until I replaced all previous "protectors" I wasted money on. They are thin and comfortable, fit securely over all edges of the beds and do not shed in the washer/dryer like others I have purchased. Fits well on our full sized guest mattress, easy to install as it goes on like a normal fitted sheet. We have a 10 inch foam mattresses with a 4.5 inch memory topper. This was my first time trying this brand as it was on sale. Im sensitive to smell, and it doesnt have any overwhelming chemical odor right out of the bag. I like the cotton terry top so if you do have a sweaty guest it can absorb that and provide breathability. Meanwhile the backing can protect your topper or mattress in a more serious event. Ok I like that the fabric on top is thick. I don't like the fabric on the sides, it's floppy and thin also the fabric on top like is catchy towel like and I have adhd and have sensory issues- even though I have a sheet over it obviously it like shifts around and feels textured underneath. 😅 I never have bought a mattress protector so maybe I just don't like them? I do think it's low quality though forsure. But u get whatcha pay for. It'll probably do the job if u need it. I just dont want to ruin my new mattress, and I lm broke lol. Read more
