Installed this light this weekend - it is indeed one of the brightest lights I've seen. Perfect for my garage. It's a very cool color, so be prepared for it NOT to match any of your existing lighting. Small price to pay for the excellent lighting and easy install. FYI, I wired this up to my existing light switch, which meant removing the included plug and switch. No problems and so far very happy with this purchase. I recently purchased the UMR LED shop light with the 24 inch length. The quality of the light fixture is quite good for a price that is about $15 cheaper then the name brand competition. The installation procedures are very simple. There are two brackets you install with wall Anchors or screws. The light fixture snaps onto the bracket. The bracket has end clips that insert in the grooves of the back of the light fixture. The light fixture has the capability to daisy chain to another fixture with an optional connector cable. The LED fixture is a plug in. There is a plug in cable that attaches to the fixture and then plugs into a 110v outlet. The only feature the light does not have is an on/off switch. This can be easily accomplished by purchasing a single pole on/off adapter plug. This light is very bright with a cool white natural daylight. It is equivalent to 60 watt light bulb. I mounted this on the wall, but it is equally ideal for an under cabinet mounted light. Would certainly buy one again. Read more

Great light, with a truly good color reproduction. Cumbersome mounting, but doable. The show-stopper here is that when the light dies -- well within warranty period -- seller responds with advice on checking that the power is on and the cable is plugged in well. After that, they just ghost you. No more responses, no replacement, no service. So for that money -- buy something else. You can get several lights, so if they fail, you just keep replacing them -- all for the cost of this one purchase. Stay away and keep your money. Read more

Great lights! Very expensive though. They are best color LED lighting you can find. The color is what I would call Daylight. There is no yellow in it. The 6500K is the color of light. Colors like 3000K and 4000K are very yellow in comparison. We installed them in the kitchen and the shop. What a difference from our old yellow shop light. We looked all over for this 6500K Daylight color and found none of the big box do it yourself stores have it. Comes with just a plug in cord with a toggle switch on it. The "daisy chain" extender that links one light to the the next in NOT PROVIDED. The only drawback is they do NOT provide the "Daisy Chain" extender cord with the light. And for this price you should get one. If you buy an LED shoplight anywhere, they provide the Daisy chain extender in the box. When I first placed my order they were available for $8.00 each, now they are unavailable. So we had to cut and splice wires to run a foot gap between the lights. That was the only way to get them in a square design in the kitchen. They do mention this on the ad, so I can't take away any stars for it. They are still the nicest light we have found. Read more

So I had these lights for 2 weeks now, first of all i gotta say it's very easy to install. If your putting these on the top of a wall, make sure you buy an extender as the cord may not reach the bottom. Great light, bright, weight wise is very light. Love them, that I bought a second to make my room even brighter. Also, I think it's daylight light that is puts out dunno if this helps or not. Read more

Just installed. I have to say it's very easy to install. I am installing this one as a light that turns on and off in a basement. This will be used instead of turning on 6 other lights. The cord is a little too long for my purpose and the on/off switch will not be used. Great light, bright, weight wise is very light. Read more

These lights are fantastic! I currently have been using them for our closets. I mount them on the upper front wall and the light shines from the ceiling down to the floor ... it is great to see all your clothes and the shoes on the floor. The lights I ordered are like instant daylight! The reliability, inexpensive use, and "safety" (do to low current draw and cool operation) makes it all worth the investment and UMR will work with you if you're not too sure what to get. Enjoy! i bought this as a replacement light for the interior of my bead blast cabinet, i wanted something that looked like sand or blast media would not fill up in the light fixture. i have not installed it yet but it does give off pretty good light and i think its pretty tight for the sand not to get in. it came with a connector to hook light fixtures end to end but i dont need that option. it would be nice to have a super bright fixture but it does give off better light than the flouresent that was in it.
