I prefer natural soaps - this is my first time using natural DISH soap though. They clean well - it's soap so it should, right? The mitt/sponge thing they give is ok - I actually prefer my regular sponge. It suds-es but doesn't make a huge later but I'm used to that with natural soaps. It doesn't take away from its effectiveness. And you can't beat that there are no chemicals. It makes your hands feel moisturized afterwards as well - as opposed to chemical dish detergents that dry them out. Here's what I don't like - the pumpkin smell - it's actually nauseating to me. And the worst part is, it made almost all the rest of the soaps in the box smell the same way. I wish they had individually wrapped each soap - or at least kept the like soaps wrapped together. So it's hard to smell anything else other than that disgusting pumpkin smell. $30 is A LOT of money, but when I buy natural body soaps, I pay about $6 a piece for them. So while I think this is a little expensive - it's not too out of the norm for a quality soap like this. But please, stop making the pumpkin one. It's gross. Read more

These soaps smell really good. I like the idea of not buying and throwing away a big plastic bottle every month or so. Unfortunately they don't clean the dishes quite as good as the grease cutting Dawn whatever. They work okay. I don't have a dishwasher though, I only hand wash so I need to actually get my dishes clean. These would be fine if you are doing dishes...performatively lol. Read more

I was initially skeptical and not really sure how to use bar dish soap period. I'm still not certain I know the correct way however I found that if I lather a whole bunch of it up in my in my hands or onto the cleansing pad and then run water over the lather into a dish tub it will make a tub of soapy water similar to liquid dish soap. It is less bubbly however it still turns white and sudsy to appear soapy and the suds seem to last longer, whereas with typical liquid dish soap after you wash a handful of items it kind of seems like there's no soap left in the water. It also washes away in Greece in the grime fairly easily especially with the scrubber that it came with. The scrubber is great it is soft but it clean as well and somehow food does not get stuck in it. I really enjoy the fresh earthy scents of These Bars. One thing to watch out for though!! It makes your hands extremely slippery so be very careful when handling breakable items. Read more

Hard to use ! Messy ! Not much lather ! All in all, these soap bars are not labeled. There’s only one scrubber 🧽 other scrubbers don’t work well. It’s kind of messy and unhygienic. Handmade Natural Solid Dish Soap Bar 6PCS with Hand Made Scrubber do not lather well with an ordinary cloth. This scrubber is the only thing I found that helps the soap lather. The colors are off and not the same as described. These say 'Paprika, Oatmeal, Coffee, Pumpkin' but I felt that they did not fully line up to the scents. Some of them were in fact odd smelling. These also do not clean well and the fact that these are not wrapped or have ingredients displayed. These are more like artisan soaps you find at a farmer's market. These are also not unscented like they claim. Would not recommend these as they did not clean well and had to redo dishes after using. Read more

When everyone was in quarantine, I ran out of dish liquid. All I had left were natural body soaps from Jamaica. I had no choice. I was using a sponge and a bar of soap to clean my dishes (ick). It wouldn't have made sense to run the dishwasher when there were only a few plates either. It was convenient to grab a sponge, dab it onto the bar of soap, clean your dish and rinse. It kept me from using too much dish liquid as well. I liked the idea, but you can't just use ANY soap. It won't rinse well and your plate will end up smelling like roses when you're eating a potato. So, these soaps ARE designed for dishes. They're formulated differently. There are great "GREEN" benefits in addition to convenience: lowering your carbon footprint...Liquid soaps can require up to 25% more energy to produce, no plastic bottle waste, solid cake soap is concentrated and ULTRA-super-sudsy (this is lasting longer than liquid), they are essentially biodegradable and use plant-based ingredients to combat leftover grease and food...They are natural and handmade so you don't have to worry about detergent residue on your dishware. It rinses easily leaving dishes squeaky clean. This is not soap you want to rub all over your body and you will not open the box and be overcome with rosie aromas of Jasmine or lavender. You get six bars of soap plus the sponge. If one bar of soap equals one bottle of dish liquid, I can determine the value and it may be a bit pricey. Read more

I was intrigued by these solid dish soap bars - I've never seen anything like them before. I was pleasantly surprised how well they work scrubbing dishes, though - the crocheted scrubber is unique and works well getting into all the nooks and crannies of any dish I'm washing. Definitely make note that your hands do indeed get slippery when using these, as noted by several others - you want to make sure that if you're washing something delicate, you go slow and cautious. 😅 The scents are not overpowering, and I really enjoy them. They come packaged in such a way that they'd make a great gift for someone - definitely recommend! Read more
