BEST SHEETS EVER! We got these from our wedding registry in 2015 and have not used ANY other sheet set since! All the 5-star reviews are right - linen sheets are exquisitely comfortable, for months we were raving about how our already comfortable tempurpedic bed was more comfortable than it had ever been. I don't know why, but linen sheets are the very best and we are never going back. Benefits: - Most comfortable sleep experience. We travel regularly, especially my husband, and stay in top hotels around the world. Since getting these sheets, no matter where he stays, he cannot wait to come home 'to get a good night's sleep on our sheets'! - Temperature regulation is pretty great compared to cotton or other sheets. This really helps me with the pillowcase, as my pillow always feels the right temperature & I fall asleep quickly. - Study & Strong, yet very soft! The material is thick, quality linen. Yet it's also extremely soft and comfortable (we thought linen might be stiff and scratchy, but it's the opposite). Even though it's strong, it does wear: Today, 2 yrs later, after daily use and weekly washing, our bottom sheet got a small rip - it wore through at a spot. I'm not sure how typical this is, but it seems reasonable that that might happen after a couple years of everyday use. (Also, our dog sometimes 'digs' a spot to sleep on our bed, so I partly blame her). Note - the flat sheet & pillowcases do not show any signs of wearing through, only the bottom sheet... we do 'toss & turn' quite a bit, so that could also have something to do with it... I still rate these sheets 5 star, because they are so amazing. And, I have a feeling that the wearing through the bottom sheet is uncommon and partly our fault. These are the greatest sheets I have ever owned. I bought the first set when I had the flu and was sweating with a fever. The sheets dry so quickly which for a warm climate is a dream. They wash well. We now have 4 sets, two gray and two navy. Get the deeper pockets. The envelope pillowcases are well made and wonderful to sleep on and does mess up your hair. We then bought the towels again for the fast drying and high quality which will last forever! I won’t ever go back to cotton after using these sheets. This is my second (hefty) investment in linen sheets. Linen is the coolest fabric for people, like me, who need breathability in sheets. Unlike my other set, these are very rough and the fabric is coarse. This is particularly noticeable in the pillow cases, of course. More akin to burlap than anything remotely comfortable against the skin. I had hoped to love these "luxurious" sheets, but they certainly don't fit that description. The fine print on the return instructions says they must be unused and in the original packaging, so perhaps I'm doomed in my attempt to turn them. Read more

Marveling at the good reviews here. I can only imagine that these reviews were written by folks who don't know what good linen sheets really feel like. Save your money to spend just a little bit more, and get a whole lot more luxury. Compared to other linen sheets I've had, these sheets feel like rough straw - and I washed them, per other reviewer's recommendations, 4 times before sleeping on them. The pillow cases are unusable if you have standard size pillows. They are so long, that the ends flap about 4 inches beyond the end of the pillow. Contacted the company to see if it was a sizing error - maybe they sent me kings by mistake? But I didn't even get the courtesy of a response - even when I tried to contact them several times through their website. This was a very expensive lesson to learn - buy something at the bottom of its price range and get bottom of the price range quality. (other linen sheets which are beyond wonderful, can be slightly more to a lot more expensive). I will save my pennies so that my next purchase of linen sheets will be a happy one. This was not - in any respect - from quality to fit to service - NOT. Update - after I wrote this review I got an email from the company asking me to take it down. We went back and forth about their lack of previous responses and snooty, dismissive customer service. They never quite understood the issue - they were too busy being defensive to hear the point. A genuine apology would have been in order but it never came - just defensiveness. That said, I have washed the sheets a couple more times and slept on them for a few nights and I have to admit that I do now love them. The pillow cases are still ridiculously sized and I can either pay someone to resize them or mail them to linoto to resize them - what a pain. Time will tell whether they hold up - for this price of course they should - but we shall see. They are a decent weight so likely will hold up well. Another update, 2022- bottom Sheet ripped in two places and is now unusable. I have cared for these very expensive sheets in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, they’ve just worn out after 6 years. This is my first set of linen sheets, and the most money I have ever spent on sheets...but I must say it was well worth every penny! The sheets are extremely well made and of a good quality linen. They feel light and airy yet, keep me sufficiently warm when its cool out and cool and comfortable when it warm out...go figure! The pillow cases are a pleasure to sleep on...they do not chafe. Of course linen = wrinkles but if you take them out of the dryer while still slightly damp and give them a quick press with a dry iron, they come out fine. I tend to iron my sheets anyway so no extra maintenance there. I usually rotate my sheets but since I purchased these, I find myself reaching for them over and over again! Time to save up for another set! Splurge! You won't regret it. Read more
