This review is for the black 14 oz mug with lid. I like the minimalist design, wide bottom, and large capacity (I measured and you can fit 16 oz liquid without the lid, 14 with the lid. Picture shows 16 oz water plus tea bag). I use it in the office and wanted the lid for transporting my drink to and from the cubicle, break room or conference room without spilling. I have not/will not drink via the lid, nor use it for travel, so I have no insights on those topics. Can confirm the lid fits snugly and prevents spillage whilst transporting hot liquid in an office setting. That's basically why I purchased this mug, and it works. I also wanted it to be microwavable, and it is. So five stars for meeting my mug-for-the-office needs. Easy to clean mug and lid, reasonable price. Nice cup. Tried other cups and this one came out the best. Lid stays on, microwaveable so I can heat up cold coffee (take the lid off). Volumn is perfect for Keurig size witn room to spare to still put on the lid. Love the color choices. Nice size handle. It's heafty and has a large base so not easy to tip over. Read more

Great set of coffee mugs. They are a large size and comfortable to hold. They keep coffee hot for a long time, and are very stable sitting on any surface that is not totally uneven. The mugs are very nice looking, and with them all being different colors are great for parties and things, so everyone can keep track of their mug. The interior cleans up easily and totally, with no coffee stains left on them. They are dishwasher safe. Read more

The lid seals to this cup very well, but the slide opening could still cause you to dribble or splash if you are distracted... and it is open. Once slide engaged to shut position, very good seal. Heavy and takes a while to heat in microwave... so do not overheat, as it takes time to cool down before you can handle it. Good feel in the hand(s); hefty. I use this daily at work. The mug does what mugs do, and I have no complaints with the integrity of the product. The design of the slide-top lid could be improved. It opens to a rectangular shape, which makes it a little messy to sip from. In addition there is no small hole elsewhere in the lid to allow for air flow, so the coffee sort of glugs out if the cup is full. The lid does seal well and close well, and I'd call it spill-resistant. The mug itself is a bit thin. My main purpose for getting a lidded mug was to keep the coffee warmer a bit longer. With the mug being thinner, it averages out to keeping the coffee as warm as an unlidded, thicker coffee mug. I'm away from my office quite a bit throughout the day, so it is nice to have the lid on there during that time. I'd probably buy a different (thicker) mug with a better designed lid next time. Handle stay cool out of microwave. The mug has a wonderful color, good design and comfortable handl. Some reviewers noted a problem with drips but I did not. I'm fine with ceramic tendency to cool off quicker. Microwave is just across the room! Read more
