I ordered this All-Day Lock Liquid Concealer Makeup by HECI because I actually ran out of mine! I can count on one hand the number of times I've used up cosmetics before they really shouldn't be used anymore. This means that I had high expectations when I tried it out. In my reviews, products start with five stars and - if warranted - stars will be deducted if I'm not fully satisfied or pleasantly surprised. I've given this four stars, because it has favorable answers for every standard question on my cosmetics evaluation list: - Is it easy to apply and blend? As soon as it hits the skin with a moist cosmetic applicator sponge, it blends like a second skin. There's an applicator that's included with it, and that blends as well but not as good as using the wet sponge. I haven't had any problem with blending, my skin is ruddy and fair so it works well to tone down the red but not too much. - How does it feel on your skin? It's my opinion that this is NOT lightweight, but it's not heavy. I'd say medium weight. Nevertheless, it does go on like silk. I am starting to get wrinkles around my eyes when I smile or squint, and it slightly masks them less easy to make out. - How much do you need to use effectively? I'd say about an average amount. This has good coverage. - Does stay on and wash off easily? I have been wearing it with a little primer but no finishing spray. I have to say that it seemed to disappear by the time I hit maybe 6-8 hours. That's on a warm but not hot day. I was disappointed and that's why I'm deducting a star. However, it came off quickly with a regular makeup remover towel. - What types of skin is it best with? I have normal-iish skin and it seems to work quite well with me, it doesn't clog pores and doesn't feel oily. - Are there any extra characteristics that might interest you? It's vegan, cruelty free, so right off the bat I was impressed. It also includes sodium hyaluronate which is great for middle aged women like me who want to keep my face looking young. - Is it worth the money? I would say that this is more expensive than it is worth. Concealers that are cheaper actually have better coverage and stay on longer. You might not get the extras in cheaper ones, though. This eye concealer works very well. Actually better than expected. And it really doesn’t take much. So that would make it a great value for the money. It blends very well with my skin. Definitely would buy again. Read more

I was actually surprised by this concealer because it works! I've never heard of this brand before, so I didn't really have high expectations. I got color 3, and it's a great match for my skin. I would say it's comparable to the ELF concealer. It covers most blemishes and dark spots. It has a doe foot applicator and applies smoothly. I haven't had it crack or crease on me. Read more

This Concealer is the perfect a shade for me, and it’s nice and creamy. It’s a little sheer, so it doesn’t completely camouflage (as it says). It washed off very easy, and usually that doesn’t happen for me. For the price, there are a lot better. Read more

Concealer is one makeup product that I'm really picky about. With my aging skin, I don't like ones that are too heavy, or crease and settle in my fine lines. I also like it to be slightly lighter than my foundation but not too drastic. This concealer has really impressed me. You can sheer it out to be lighter coverage and I've done that to wear it all over as a foundation. You can also really build it up to be full coverage and it won't settle or look too heavy under the eyes. It has a great consistency and the packaging seems like it's very nice quality. The color is just perfect because it's slightly lighter than my natural color which is very fair. It definitely helps to lighten up my eyes and I've been reaching for it nonstop. This concealer works beautifully to cover redness and even out my skin tone. It blends smoothly and feels lightweight without looking cakey. It does a great job covering redness. It is not full coverage for darker freckles, so they still show through a bit. It gives a natural, fresh look rather than a heavy, completely covered finish. Read more

I really am loving this all day lock concealer! I have been using another brand for a couple of months now that is supposed to be non-creasing, age defying, matte finish … all the things. It hasn’t been absolutely TERRIBLE, but not really sure it’s everything it was advertised to be. With that said, I was pretty anxious to give this concealer a try and see if it would be a “win” for me and my skin … and it was! It goes on very smooth and blends very well. I have yet to really see any creasing from it, which is already a “win” in my book. I have noticed in comparison to this concealer versus the other brand I have been using, that my skin doesn’t look at oily in places where it is/was used. Additionally the coverage it gives me is as advertised - full coverage! I got the light color for me & it blended very well with my other makeup.
