I can’t remember how many phone holders I have gone through to finally find the best holder yet. It is stable, doesn’t vibrate, holds the phone with a MagSafe case, and is very easy to use. It doesn’t block any dials or gauges or the vent. It has a durable magnet and holds my phone in place very well. Read more
Quality product that works as advertised. Build quality is solid and the magnet works as expected (may vary depending on phone case). It isn't directly mentioned, but I saw another reviewer say it works for their 3rd gen Tacoma (with the circular air vents with wide blades). I didn't have as much luck. I got it to attach accordingly. The phone holder has a hook with a rubberized end to prevent damage, but I got a bigger phone - one of the iPhone Pro Max. I've had the entire phone holder fall out probably due to the weight of the iPhone - especially in rougher road conditions / terrain. It probably would be fine with a smaller phone, but I chose to use it in a different vehicle as to not damage my air vents. I hope this helps provide insight to other Toyota folks out there. The media could not be loaded. I gave this little vent‑clip mount a shake‑down on a weekend road trip, and the first thing that impressed me was the magnet: it snaps an iPhone 16 into place with a satisfying thunk and never let go, even over pothole‑pocked backroads. The steel hook clamp feels more secure than the usual spring‑loaded claws I’ve tried, and installation took less than a minute—loosen the knob, slide the hook behind the vent blade, tighten until snug. Because the arm pushes the phone a few inches away from the louvers, I can still nudge plenty of air around the cabin and easily swivel the screen toward the driver’s seat without blocking the whole vent face. Living with it day‑to‑day, a few quirks surfaced. On rough pavement the phone bounces slightly more than mounts that park it flat against the vent, a trade‑off for that handy extension arm. And while the hook system is rock‑solid on horizontal or vertical slats, it’s a non‑starter for circular vents and anything thicker than about an eighth of an inch—worth double‑checking before you click “Buy Now.” I also discovered that pulling the phone straight off the magnet can yank the vent fin if you’re not gentle; sliding it sideways works much better and spares the plastic blades. Overall, though, this is the first MagSafe holder I’ve kept in place longer than a week. It frees up my cup holder, angles easily for navigation, and looks clean and low‑profile on the dash. At roughly thirteen bucks on sale, it punches well above its price class—just remember to pair it with a MagSafe case (or the included metal ring) if you’re rocking an older or non‑Apple device. Minor jiggle aside, it’s become one of those small car upgrades that I miss the second I drive without it. Read more
I would give this product a 5 star review IF the designer had taken into account the shape, contour, space between fins, placement of automotive screens and controls, and the stability of heating vents in automobiles. The product itself is sturdy and seems durable. The magnet strength is great if you have a magnetic cellphone case. I can’t testify to the strength of the magnetic ring that you can apply to your phone. (The measuring guide used to apply the magnetic ring to your phone is confusing and hard to use. Luckily I did not have to use it. It warns of some damage to your device if the magnetic ring is improperly placed.) My VW Tiguan vents are round, and the center fin is the “grab” fin. When I tried to install the product my first problem was that the product base was too big to attach firmly without hindering the grab fin. I tried the upper vent hoping that I could effectively install the product upside down and miss the grab fin. It seemed to be working until the last, (I did not forcefully tighten, VW issue), tightening of the product when the contour on the dash interfered, and I broke the fin on the vent trying to get it the product to stop wobbling. The value, if your vents are more friendly than mine is excellent. The product itself I think could work very nicely in a different car. I actually recommend this product. But make sure to inspect your car vents while you watch the installation video, and measure the place in which you intend to install it. Versatility is compromised by specifics of automotive vents and dash contour and controls. Read more
I’ve had this phone holder for a few weeks and love it. The magnet is extremely strong. Been on some very rough roads and my phone has not fallen off. Extremely easy to install. I love that it does not block the vent from functioning and the phone does not get hot or cold because the air or heat is blowing directly on it. Great product and I have recommended it to many. Worth the price. Very easy to take off and move if needed. Also able to charge the phone while on the holder. Read more
